When I talk about negative tactics, I mean big fouls everytime to stop Real attacks. I precised it, so don't react to defend the fact they play highly containing and counter attacking, that's not the point... The point is linked to tackles from behind on Di Maria or Modric... Do you still don't see what is wrong with it ? Moreover, referee is responsible of it, because it was a huge joke Koke did not receive any yellow card in first half after two big fouls (2 tackles from behind) in 2 minutes, first on Di Maria, other on Coentrao (not sure, maybe Khedira...), each one deserving warning. He finally had yellow a few minutes before end of regulation time though he could have been excluded before.
BTW, that's now recurrent problem in finals. Players know that referee won't dare to exlude any guy at least before middle of second half, because they don't want to be charged with having any influence on result. So they're too permissive in that kind of games and players know that, so they use dirty fouls without hesitating. Best example is world cup finals in 2010, with Van Bommel and De Jong attitude. First used horrible tackle on Iniesta in the first minutes of game, knowing he would not be excluded and he was right. Second high kicked Xabi Alonso in a crazy violent move, and received only yellow, because it was also in first half...
About CR7 celebration, if you don't see any problem (nothing linked to the fact he was playing in his own country or that he came back from one week injury - BTW, it's one week, not one month
), we obviously don't have same vision of football and of what a great champion attitude is, so this is useless to argue out
. The guy seemed to want more scoring (BTW, it was goal number 17 for him this year in CL, not 15) in this game by any way that winning match. For sure scoring worth celebrating, who said it didn't ? But THIS celebration, really ?
To conclude, it's striking to see difference of behaviour of major stars in main team sports. Kevin Durant or Lebron James in basketball, Richie Mc Caw or Dan Carter in rugby, Peyton Manning or Tom Brady in US football, Karabatic or Hansen in handball, Rodriguez or Cliff Lee in baseball... all are known to be great teamates, who care as much for their team as for themselves... and you have CR7
