But when I follow step 3 the game works again.. perhaps something went wrong in the 2nd download.. I installed the game about 3/4 times but nothing changed... I'm positive I did everything the right way.
anyone any idea?

I look forward to the tour.

I tried to play with the settings you suggest, maybe my eyes need to adjust to it, but it really seems very hard to see the trajectory of the ball from that camera in 2D,especially in high speed exchanges..

Honestly, I don't have that issue.Lets see what other members think after the Test tournaments. Bottom line is: if two people who player each other on any given tour match agree to play with previews, we cannot and will not stop them. But the rules will likely stay.

I want to rectify this : I did all strike styles of the original game, I didn't add anything user created. So with Sam's Patch, there are around 50% user created styles (done by Neeko), and 50% official styles. Most of my strikes are more technically correct, but Neeko strikes are often well caricatured ; ie: even if they're not technically correct, he did a nice emphase on the movements of the strike that makes it easy to identify the real player it is modeled from ; it seems though he's getting better at this and his latest creations are getting more technically correct..!
