Why should that not be reflected in the game itself? IMO s/v is too easy as it is. It is ridiculously unrealistic how many balls s/v can get to while at net. Sorry s/v fans but that style of play died 10 years ago and it died for a reason.

true.

the physics just suck. high volley/reflexes basically gives the player a good 10 ft radius where they instantly "reach" (although the ball goes nowhere near the racket) and even hit a good volley.

that said, no style is remotely sim in ts4 so...

Maybe in the last decade, (although I believe the reasons for this aren't just 'technology and slow courts' but from the 1870's- to as you suggest, say 2002, playing the net was a winning strategy. A game where you could ONLY win from the back would be boring as hell. Likewise a game with SV only winning. But both? If we find it hard to deal with we just need to get on with it and improve against them. Variety is the spice of life! That's like saying you should only be able to win with one specific formation in FIFA, madden, NBA, or by driving a certain car in Gran Turismo.

I was there! Almost choked because i had tickets all the way to the final and was going to be a buzz kill if Roger went home early... And it was a long way home for me... Thank god that inside out forehand when he was facing break point in the 3rd set.... allez!!

Well, getting in topic lol, SPEED pleeeease, i have a winning record against IR, but i also loose many matches against IR. the worst part is how they just keep shooting full power non stop, from anywhere on the court, if you hit a short slice, a deep slice, a croos court top spin, whatever shot... They reach it with their low speed and then SONIC BOOM!

Can someone give me a little info on what you think makes the CPS/IR build so good in the right hands?

Also, am I wrong or can you not get IR/CPS unless you have at least 6 points in each stat category? I assumed that IR/CPS would be less an all-around build. I'm kind of new at getting this deep into the builds but since I've joined this site I'm exploring different stuff. Thanks!

No, requirements are just 13 points in Offensive Baseliner.

This is a good setup because if gives you decents bonus on groundstrokes, and many power. Moreover, it's a great build regarding the skills it provides, Crushing Passing Shot to outplay S&V players completely, and Instant Rocket to finish points quick when you think it will work.

In one word, god-ti... err sorry, polyvalent setup : D

Thanks but how do I not see the coach that offers CPS/IR with my 0/18/2 setup? Not on my 0/15/5 either. I'm confused. LOL

To get Rabari to show up, put two in DEF or SV, then once you add 13 OFF Rabari will show up.
