He already has one of the best serves on the tour (if not the best). He ALWAYS looks to go forward to the net, and when he goes there he makes other big servers look amateur (Ivo, Roddick, Isner etc) His is an excellent vollier with fairly quick reactions and great hands.
But here is the kicker, he has a baseline game. Consistent BH with nice ability to go down the line, good forehand that is not too flat.
I think Fernando will be furious when Raonic will take him out on clay in France.
The guy is "The Real Deal".
BTW - here are the stats from the match. It is clear from here, Fer lost fair and square to a better player. Similar stats on serve, so he might as well be talking about himself about "big serve game is boring":

i dont agree with verdasco's quote....clay courts are awesome, but hardcourts are great too, it brings out the best in different players. i honestly think that hardcourts are a lot more entertaining.

so yeah these guys along Dimitrov, Dolgopolov, Berankis... are the future top ten.
And i'd add Nishikori to the list, he got his first title in 2008 beating James Blake in the final (Delray Beach), he's only 21 now and has lots of talent so i do believe he can do well in the near future, actually his progression he should be better on the ranking but he had problems in his shoulder in 2009
