Video games you're waiting for in 2010

Goa... Stop it... Or i'm gonna run now from my house and buy Spiderman! Is it really that great? (gameplay, camera, action, missions, history,...)

I found Mafia II Demo nice, but all i read about the full game : boring! (always the same thing : driving-cinematics-run and shoot-cinematics-driving-cinematics-run and shoot-cinematics-driving...) But you can say by the demo that it's nicely done, you really feel the old years, and you can do a tony montana so... If not expensive, ok

I started Dead Rising 2 "demo" (or prequel)... Quite fun! I like how you can invent new way to destroy zombies! But yes, they die quickly, and yes to complete the demo you have to do it several times : you are "Limited by a timing" (i won't tell more ) Note : the level up you make in that "demo", you keep it for the full game Dead Rising 2.

And i tried the "Vanquish" demo!... And, oh boy! It's something!!!^^
Action everywhere (i was a bit lost at first...But i only tried it quickly)!!!
It looks like a mix between GearsOfWar/Halo (action, moves, weapon,...) and LostPlanet (enemies, coop, mecha). It really looks promising!

MAFIA2 is really dissapointing . very very boring -also you allways a runner ,a small gangster .allways .
its really really boring .
like you said -
you have to drive ,to drive and again to drive (with crappy oldtimers) only to kill a few people thatn back to the don -sleeping -
a new day - driving -shooting sleeping .
again and again
i was so hot to play MAFIA2 - only to play the most boring game of the year

SPIDERMAN -SHATTERED DIMENSION makes really fun to play .
the graphik is in cell shading - so it looks like the real comics.thats nice.
the camera is mostly good - only in a few situations the camera have small problem . but nothing dramatic
the gameplay is also nice - you play 4 different kinds of SPIDI
and every spiderman have his own upgrades .to earn this upgrades you must do different challenges during the levels.(you can do the challenges -but you don´´t must do it to come forward to finnishing the levels)
i like the game.

sadly in germany DEAD RISING DEMO isn´´t available
in germany , DEAD RISING2 it will not be released - so i can´´t play the demo,
but i play it latest when the game is generelly released !!

Mmmmhh... This Spiderman looks great!... As a good fanboy, i think i must go and have this game!...
About the 4 Spidey (i'm not a fan of the black suit, or the 2099 suit, but i like the "Venom", and the classic one... I like the old school Spidey! ) : Does it mean that you play it 1 time to unlock the upgrades? And then play it a 2nd time for the other suit? And play it a 3rd time for the 2099 upgrades? Etc.... It could give a great "replay value" to the game... cool thing!

And i'm very surprised by the fact you don't have same demos than us n France... i know you explained it already, but it still shock me... Any chances for a change one day?

YEAH it sucks that in germany not all demos are available- its about to save the children -
we have USK - and when games not got a USK 18 -than microsoft released the game not officiell in germany .
and we can´´t play the DEMOS from this games !
earlier there was a way
it was possible to play and download demos with a fakeaccount (just enter austria instead of germany )
sadly this isn´´t possible anymore

luckywise its forward allowed to buy a import version - every gamedealer sells it -only not big warehouses ridicolous behavior)

about spiderman ....
you play at all 3 akts/parts
every akt/part have 4 levels
so you play every spiderman 1 times in every akt/part
at all 3 levels with every spiderman

so far i see that now. i´´m at moment begining act 3.
maybe there are more levels available (extralevels) ,but i don´´t think so
every spiderman have different moves and challenges .

every level ends with fighting a endboss , like hammerhead ,sandman,hobgoblin,craven,elektro,vulture and so on.

maybe thats a kritikpoint that you play to less with the orginal red spiderman .
and that the game is little to easy on grade of difficulty "EASY" and "NORMAL"
so my advice is toplay the game on difficulty " hard "- that make at most fun in my opinion

BTW: also the "VANQUISH" DEMO isn´´t available in germany
i heared only good things from this game -and a warning that epileptic people could not play this game -

BTW: this ugly sticker is on every cover (size 4cm high +4cm wide)
thats so ugly and destroyed nearly every gamecover

after finishing the SPIDERMAN on hard i must give the game another point of minus.
its totally linear -too linear .
with no big areas - so you can´t detect much outside from the stroryline.
this feeling i had esspecially after i had finished 2/3 from the game.
linear levels ,again and again

till i got a alternate game to play ,i will play now HALO REACH.

Can't wait to see what superhuman powers they grant you for playing the game for a certain amount of time.

'Use The Force' perk: you can now choke people from across the map!! Elite skills!

'Matrix' perk- Gravity no longer has an effect on you! Float and spin like...the Matrix.

FYI, MW2 has now a mode with Kill-streaks and Perks off.

That was #1, THEE thing that turned me off to that game for good. Such a terrible idea to have them in the 1st place, IMO.

I agree. My thinking was always give the best guns and perks right of the bet. And let us earn the weaker weapons, sorta retro weapons etc....

I mean there has to be some sort of reward for players clocking in the time....that's the thinking.

....maybe they could give us clothing and camo etc.....but firepower has to be equal with players that just started or the ones that play for 6 month.

Exactly right. When you start the game you have a very bad handicap. I will only buy black ops if it has zombies though. ideally also needs to be gone - QUICKSCOPING (omg, dont get me started) Shotgun secondaries, akimbo weapons, marathon/lightweight should be either one or the other, commando needs adapting, and the silenced UMP. That gun is insane, can kill nearly anyone in 2-3 hits, the silencer doesnt reduce damage and actually stablises recoil, and all while remaining invisible on radar.
