Things that made Top Spin 3 not so good lile it could be

Postby o Sinna o » Thu, 21 Jan 2010 11:44

Yep you see it in the Title that's what I wanna talk about.
I am talking about some Gameplaypoints.

There are two things coming up in my mind.

The first thing is the Serve. Why the hell isn't it possible in Top Spin 3 to hit a Serve exactly on the T Line? I think you know what I mean. A straight serve down the line. Some Aces like you see it in real Tennis.

The next thing is the missing Risk Meter for Riskshots.
The Riskshots in Top Spin 3 a slowed down anyway and by far not such a strong weapon as they were in Top Spin 1 for example, so it would be nice to have a Meter to time the Riskshots exactly like you could in Top Spin 1. I am cool with the Risk Power in Top Spin 3 but it sucks a lil bit that you can't time it in every Situation you want. Maybe it would be a lil bit more unrealastic this way, but it would offer a lot more fun if you ask me.

It had made the Returngame and some Ralleys much more interesting then it is with the actual Conditions. Especially the Return Games.

What do you think about that and what are your things that made Top Spin 3 not so good like it could be?

Maybe a few other things coming up in my mind and if so I'll post them later.

Yeah I mean there is a lot around the Game you can talk about. Of course I do. I mean the the topics I made are no trashy so why not? (hehe)

You got nothing else to say about the points I talked about?

I mean it's not cool that you can't hit a Serve exactly down the T-Line or?

And the missing Risk Meter sucks also if you ask me.

I've never played TS1 so I don't miss the risk meter, risk shots are perfect in sim mode. theyre actually there to make a difference, and risking with a weak wing is actually "risky" Not the 90/40 madness where everyone has 80+ on each wing and power.

Also I serve exactly on the T, as many others do..

Really so you can serve a hard Service on the T in TS3?
Why did I never made it if it''s possible?
Ok I only played the Game three weeks now but it can't be so hard or?
I never made a hard Serve exactly on the T Line but I was wondering if that isn't really possible in TS3. Because that would be a lil bit dumb. (hehe)

Do you serve with the Stick or is it not important to serve on the T Line?

I use the buttons and double trigger serve. I think its important to be able to hit as wide as possible and straight on the T, makes your opponent have to anticipate, which leads to aces or poor returns. You've got to find the right amount of time holding the direction to hit the lines. It depends on your serve stat.Go and experiment :)

Hehe all righty m friend. I'll try it. I never made a Serve exactly on the T-Line but if you say it is possible I believe you.

EDIT: Ok I just tried it the first time with both triggers and made it nearer to the T-Line then ever before. But it isn't exactly on the T-Line. And I bet it isn't exactly on the T-Line when you serve. It's pretty close but that's not what I call exactly on the line.

That means it is not true what you said. (hehe)

Hehe I guess you are wrong. This is a serious meant Thread.

It may be a lil bit funny, but I am not messing around.

I love you all.

Seriously I didn't play this Game more then 3 Weeks since the Release and I really never made a Serve exactly on the T-Bar. I just began to Serve with both Trigger after the tipp the other guy gave me.

Some of my Serves are pretty near to line now but that's not what I call exactly because exactly is exactly you know. It's it just not possible in Top Spin 3 and that's a lil bit dumb. (hehe)

Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

you can hit every ball (90%) on the line - here by itst are a few excellent server where can do that - again this need only daily practice with a 90 ep stat on serve
