Posted a new video with Joe - Agassi vs Sampras.

Unfortunately it's mostly points on my serve; we just didn't have many good rallies since I'm not to strong from the baseline.

It's points from 2 different matches and the 3rd set tiebreak of the 2nd match - which was probably the closest match I ever had against Joe.

Here I post the final of ABN AMRO Championships (Rotterdam - World Tour 500) SIM 2009 Final, Top Spin 1, last week, between me and my friend G-Spin. The match is divided into two parts, you can check the 2nd part on the related videos. If you want a better quality I have the match uploaded on Rapidshare just ask me. I hope you enjoy it!

Hey guys

I got myself a capture card 8) This was edited quickly, a couple of nice points. It was more of a test video. [I used Bishop and Tomo used in game's Federer].

Question to other guys who have recorded matches, do you think it makes any difference to lag when you are recording?

Also, I normally play on HDMI, but of course I only bought a cheap capture card, so played on composite while recording. Do you find the timing feels different with the poorer graphics? or was that just my lag :D

First, that's pretty good quality for the recording. The only thing you could do to improve it is to make sure you have the aspect ratio set correctly when you export the video after editing. It looks like you recorded in 16:9, but exported in 4:3 or 5:4.

Recording should have no effect on lag. It could cause a delay in what you are seeing though, depending on how you set everything up.

Can you explain a bit how you connected your PS3 to the capture card and your TV?

Using composite cables, I connect:

- PS3 to Splitters.
- Splitters to TV and Capture Card

You are right Rob, I did record in 16:9, but I also thought it was exported as it was. Where can I correct the aspect ratio? Thanks

EDIT: I think I've found out where I went wrong, I have changed a Setting in Windows Movie Player (which was 4:3, now changed to 16:9). Will let you know what the next Video looks like.

Connecting that way will not cause any lag or delay. That's just about the best way to do it. If your capture card has S-video or component then you could get slightly better quality, but what you have is fine for youtube.

Did you mean Window's Movie Maker? Setting that to 4:3 will definitely cause it to look like it does.

Also, what type of file does your capture card create? wmv, mpeg-1, mpeg-2, avi, etc.
