Problem

Postby Samael » Fri, 10 Apr 2009 21:08

Hi to all DMTmaniacs. I have a problem that needs quick solving. I have uninstalled DMT a month ago( i think). Now, i have reinstalled it again, applied the patch, entered the registration code but i can't play online with someone else but Mason. Even more, i can't subscribe with my nickname ( Samael), thus beeing forced to enter as GUEST. What's the solution??? I'm not going to pay for a registration serial number again!!! :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

Someone has your registration number and it is currently being used?

It does not accept your registration code?

I've sent a message to Bimboosoft. Let's just hope they solve my problem.

I hope they do. They were not much helpful with my L.A.N. feature add-on for DMT to play better online connection games and perhaps doubles.

We will see mate. I hope for you!!

HUM, caca . That's wierd should work normally.

If someone else has your code . You shouldn't be able to get online at all.
It would say something like "already logged in try again later "

Oh . . . I will show you:

Hello,

I am a long-time supporter of online gaming for tennis and membered veteran of International Top Spin Tour (www.intertopspintour.net).

I stumbled across your game and have taken into account a lot of complaints from users of your Dream Match Tennis (DMT) online gaming proficiency.

Hence, I know a program that will tunnel the network connection specifically between two users!! Nice. The program is called Hamachi.

This program has been proven to work, as I founded the doubles tour for PC Top Spin I and requested members to use this program. The connection and assistance from the customer representatives from Hamachi.cc have been wonderful.

However, unlike Top Spin I, your game lacks the Local Area Network (LAN) option. The solutions to the complaints of the lag problem between online tennis gaming lovers can be over with a flick of a switch . . . your new LAN add-on option for Dream Match Tennis.

Will you consider my claim?

Thanks,
Quyloon Reese

I think it is silly really. I see that the connection is not as bad as what I have been experiencing so far.

Yet, doubles would be nice, because you can partner with any body in the world and compete.

The LAN feature will ensure a solid non-lag match.

There could be several reasons why they don't add the LAN. First of all, it might take a bit of reprogramming - so easier said than done. Also, it might mean they have less control over their game - allowing unregistered copies or illegally obtained registration codes to be used for online play. I remeber people could use the LAN feature of the XBox TS1 to play online without using XBox Live - can't blame them for not wanting to lose money.

Yeah , as far as I know "they" is just one guy who made the game in his living room.

I mean if you think of japan you think pretty high-tech in general . DMT isn't really that
