I love football, I´m a Real Madrid supporter, and I also love watching Liverpool matches because Fernando,Xavi and Arbeloa.
As you can notice there are not Real Madrid players....well it´s not our best time

i voted for messi...after a very long time of hesitation...Ibra is umpredictable and as a scorer he is unbeleivable...CR7 has been monstruous last year...But i've never seen Messi misplaying!Every time i saw a foot match with him he was brilliant!

Ibrahimovic. Is so overrated in my opinion.

Anyway

I vote for Steven Gerrard. He may not have the best technique but, he is so driven and is always their in the big matches. Their is NOONE more important for a team then Captain Fantastic.

The thing is, even though i support liverpool, Gerrard isnt that talented... He is just very good at football, he is there when he is needed and he can see thing happening around many others cant, and he is the best player at liverpool, i just dont think he is as talented as others on that list! That's why i picked El nino! Even though i like gerrard better :D

Haha I actually like soccer (ok, football) a lot more than American football- I just don't follow it at all or know of any of the players. Nobody watches it here.

Knowing that football/soccer is the most adored sport on the planet, I have tried very, very, very (did I say "very") very hard to like the sport ... to no avail. While I appreciate very much the skills of the players, a sport in which one goal is scored every fortnight is, to me, very dull.

A typical football/soccer match is no different than watching your windshield wipers during a light rain.

Ice hockey, there you go, now that's a sport. :P

What's the difference between a crap team and a good team?

Near as I can figure, a good team scores a goal, maybe two if they're lucky. The crap team doesn't score any.

Its quality not quantity cro, lol, the good thing about football is that anything can happen thats what makes it exciting, u put roger federer on court with some guy ranked 1000 in the world, im sure we know who would win.

Good choice, one of the greatest players in the world.
If you watch a match between top european teams won´t be dissapointed, but yes maybe sometimes it´s a bit slow for you guys, I mean you need speed, strengh, dunks and dunks in the NBA, allowed fights in Ice Hockey  while the referee is just watching, in one word you need adrenaline.
Football can be spectacular but also can be tactic, and I guess that if you guys watch a tactic match you´re gonna hate that sport, it has to be spectaculat like your action movies, to capture your interest.
That could be the reason why football is not the main sport in the USA, it´s too slow for your frenetic way of life.

If I´m wrong I´m sorry but it´s what I feel from Europe, and of course I prefer an spectacular sport than a tactic one, but sometimes football is a tactic game and when the goal arrives is orgasmic   (check the first video).
Maybe I would love Ice Hockey, American Football or Beisbol, but I haven´t seen a match in my life.
It´s all about culture, if I lived in USA I would probably be a PENS supporter ( Nick had that avatar :D )
You have a USA football national team, which is trying to be in the next World Cup, in the future you can be a power also in that sport, you´re a great country.
