Federer will win in 4-5 sets- that's my prediction, although I wouldn't be dissapointed if Djokovic won, because Federer and Novak are my 2 favorite players. Tsonga will beat Nadal.

Federer will beat Tsonga in straight sets in the final.

Like equitiesindallas said, I think it's funny that anybody questions Federer. Kinda cute that you guys think he's all 'vulnerable' all the sudden- trust me, he's not.

Nadal's probably going to be outmatched by Tsonga, who actually PLAYS THE GAME and will not let Rafa get away with just running like a madman all over the place.

Reasons Djokovic will win ...

The US Open final was lost by Djokovic, not won by Federer. This won't happen again as Novak is no doubt wiser with this experience under his belt.

This is a semifinal, not a championship match. The pressure will be high, but not nearly as high as it was when they met at the US Open.

Djokovic is currently playing better than Federer.

Federer has a lot to lose, Djokovic practically nothing.

Djokovic is wiser that Federer (PROOF: He is not sleeping with Mirka Vavrinec)

Add that up and the winner = Novak Djokovic

Lol, at least Roger is sleeping with someone. Who is Djokovic sleepin with with? Probably with his chilhood teddy bear.

No seriously, I think Mirka is not that bad if you look on past photos you could see. Nowadays she is fat, no doubt (probably because of eating a lot of food with all the money Federe has she can buy all the food she wants) but she isn't ugly. It's kind of preety imo. Well, nothing compared with Ivanovic of course or Sharapova.

I sincerely think that is probably Djoko to win. Of course everyone knows I'm a Federer fan, but I didn't like the way he is playing, he does too many unforced errors, loses his service multiple times after breaking and Djoko didn't even lose a set. I would like just that Federer wins because I would like him to break Sampras record, well, and win RG, after that he could go home. Just for that I would prefer him to win. About Nadal-Tsonga, Nadal didn't lose a set either until now but Tsonga is playing impressive and, who knows, his game is being so agressive and his reflexes on the net are so good, maybe he has a chance if he wins, I think it's going to be in 4 sets. But who knows Nadal is, at least, psychological unbeatable (imagine if Federer had Nadal's mind he would be unbeatable probably, because Federer lots of times loses points because you just see, he is nervous, afraid, bigger example probably RG last year, if I'm not wrong 17 break chances and just 1 or 2 won).
If Tsonga wins Nadal and Federer can win Djokovic, then I think Federer wins, if still Federer wins Djokovic but Nadal wins Tsonga, I think Nadal will win this Open.

I agree Mirka's not the hottest woman I've ever seen in my life, but I mean...she's not that bad  A little chubby maybe but she's got a semi-attractive face

I think a couple of glasses of wine or half a tumbler of rum and you would shag Mirka without a second thought. Federer could probably have any woman on the planet he wanted, but he is in love with her, so good on him for seeing more in a person than just tits, an ass and a pussy. 8)

Come on, the dude is Roger Federer ... rich, famous, young ... should have dumped Mirka when her body fat topped 1%.

Agreed. Screw all that "it's what's on the inside" crap. If I were him I'd be struttin' around with a new babe, or two, (or three, or four....) every tournament.

I am going with Federer. If he can win the US Open of 2007 with playing poorly over Djokovic, then I think he can do the same at the Aussie of 2008.

I think that the US Open of 2007 championship match was really Djokovic's (0/7 set point conversions!!!!).

I was just answering the question. :) Federer will make it; however, he cannot have a match like the US Open of 2007. That is my point. Heh.

with his current performance federer simply couldn't beat djokovic. i'm, like hakuna matata as well, a real federer fan. if roger loses a match, i feel bad. even if he plays vs tommy haas or vs another german, i am with federer. after his amazing match vs sampras 2001 (there i was a real sampras fan^^), i've started to love watching him.

so to cut a long story short, it's really really hard for me to say djokovic will beat federer. i think the following night could be a similar situation as 2001.
i was really in doubt, if novak could go on with his amazing performance he showed in the last year, but now i must say: djokovic is a real winner type.

i won't watch the match i think, i cannot see federer losing

just nice to see nadal got thrashed by tsonga and won't be nr.1
