I´m argie and I voted for Pahel despite we had a controversial friendship when we both were top 10 :)

Awwww :) We're still buddies though....btw you were top 10?!

Just kidding bro, my vote went to the incredible ced....I can't judge the other tours but on xbox Jingles & Vince would be my picks...just like professor mecir said.
Who? Who? What are you, a **** owl?

Unfortunately i arrived a bit late to write in this thread but it's obvious that i have to express my judgement.
At the beginning i am costricted to answer to Pahel provocation: when you playied this game constantly(during the 2005 season, and the beginning of 2006) you have troubles with every single top player and not only(i think that it's not necessary that i make the names...), so i believe it's better that you avoid this unnecessary sarcasm with me: you are the more evident example of a bad manner at least for what concern the PC TS1 tour since 2005 to this day without no doubt.
For what concern the thread argument, i speak about reg in TS1, i can surely state that the best player i have meet during my long(maybe too long!?) career in ITST is Mecir: he was the most complete player because he knew every single detail of regular playing so, if he consider Vince and Fred Belin the best ones, i can only indeed with him.
If we want to regard the player that remain on the crest for more time and in different specialties i believe that crown goes to Fred Belin.
And now, to conclude the post( you have to allow me a bit of egocentricity) i have to give an opinion about my career and capacity of playing: i think to be one of the more talented(maybe the most talented...hehe) and inconstant player of the tour...

You're so right about that Dave, I indeed had a lot of trouble in 2005 :!: :!: Not so anymore buddy ;) While you still quit matches (as against elgatone couple days ago  ) and you still never congratulate your opponents but go for hours crying about how the game might have been if if if.... I learned to lose, you clearly did not my friend. Remember that match you lost against berg a while ago? You told him that you had more knowledge about top spin than him which is about the biggest joke ever! Remember how he almost triple bageled you at the french open this year? What was your excuse for that again? I think you said it was so hot in italy at the time

Yeah you being one of the most talented players here huh? Let me tell you something your "career" is a joke, you won 3 mickey mouse titles, never beat the guys that were on top of the tour at the respective era...I don't have access to the stats right now but what's your record this year, 20-35 or something?

Well, I think that this survey does not have anything that to see with the styles of game, for this they need to see numbers and statistics.
I think that Dave is one talented player but his number dont are "very good"
It is clear that dave82 did not know, it was not lucky to give the jump to the following level, I say that he is talented but it could not use histalent or maybe it did not have good luck.

You're so right about that Dave, I indeed had a lot of trouble in 2005 Exclamation Exclamation Not so anymore buddy Wink While you still quit matches (as against elgatone couple days ago Laughing ) and you still never congratulate your opponents but go for hours crying about how the game might have been if if if.... Just because i have time to lose i'll try to answer to every single points of your considerations as usual quite incorrect although i think that we had to argue just once in the past and the stuff were rather complicated.
I know that you like to take concrete examples so i'll go to explain about the matches that you referred at: agaist Elgatone some days ago i retired because the connection was really orrible(ping around 500-600ms) so this made no sense in continue the match: i simply told to him that i can not continue to play a match unplayible and also to write this in the report match result...dont know if he did it...
I remember well what i told to Berg after our last tnt match: we both were indeed that it was a very good match and he also told to me that he thought to lose this match(probably after the second set in which i playied some good return game); i also write him what you have reported above: i have a better knowledge of top spin reg patterns and also a better risk return when the connection is decent at least...i dont want to take out him his merits, he's a a great counter and also a good simmer but im simply more complete than him in the regular game on hard and grass surface, that's all: if i lost this last match it dont mean that he's better than me...i know that it's a quite complex concept for your limited mind. At the end i congratulate with him as i always do with every player when i lose a match.
On clay i concur with you...he's much better than me and, as you know(you have a good memory when u want) i'm quite bad on this surface where i also playied few matches because i never like it.
Speaking about my results i can tell you that i finish the 2005 making the Masters final and sadly losing against you: my position in the entry ranking was the 6th in the last months of that year having a Wimby semi on my own.
Then, i was 3rd in the entry ranking practically in the whole 2006(my best year obviously), i reached the semi both in AUS and Wimby tournament, and an incredible final at RG; unfortunately i find mecir(he won the tournament later) at US open quarter so i esc before the time.
This year i play few tournaments(i was fed up of this game), just the main events, when i had time and obviously my ranking and my results goes down although, until some weeks ago, i was yet in the top10 of the reg player(entry ranking). I can only signal this year a good Wimby semi lost again with you.
So, if you have fun in provoke me, you can continue to do it...it's clear that my answers will be harsher and harsher.
Now i'll try to explain your career dude: you have a great second part of 2005 season, no opponents could kick your ass except Mecir that you were however able to beat in the US final: you were in gamespy 7-8 hour per day and you playied really many many matches(beetween fun and tnt matches) , unfortunately any other people had 1 or 2 hour to spend in playing...Master and Ledieu were just disappeared for your luck.
Probably you should have to retire on top of your career but you are eager of success because topspin was the only one reason of your useless life. Unfortunately you were fallen in the AUS final against Thanza maybe because of an heart attack...just to underline the importance that you gave to a videogame... :P
After this loss your reign was over and, although you try to return many time with quite good results, you never have been the Pahel that your fans know!
Just to conclude, i always thought that you are a great player but a quite bad person ("fickle kid" fit well on you as nickname)...i can assure you that many other people of this community are indeed with me.
It's a pity because sometimes your come-out are enjoyable, so you could be a cool guy in another planet... :?

1. ohhh the connection was badddd so little dave had to quit  you'll always come up with an excuse, won't you dude?

2. My limited mind lol coming from a guy whose IQ is like 50, regarding your immaturity and the way you rape the english language. Bergkamp is 32848383 times better than you, you wanna know why? You got 3 minor titles, he has a lot of big ones. Most of the times you guys played he destroyed you real bad, how can you still argue that you know more about ts than him? You either have to justify it with another bullcrap excuse (connection, your boyfriend leaving you etc) or you have to blame yourself for once: if you got the higher top spin IQ and he beats you all the time, why might that be? I guess even your "limited mind" lol will figure out that one

3. Woooow you played like 29474 tournaments and even made some semifinals! I'm impressed! Even a masters cup final that you lost in straight sets (the connection was pretty bad that day though, wasn't it? )

4. awww your answers will be harsher and harsher  yeah I always fall to pieces when I read your bs, you can't stick to the topic and you got no idea when you run out of arguments...but instead of keeping your mouth shut you just go on stirring up trouble that is in no way related to the ongoing discussion and doesn't have anything to do with top spin. Face it buddy, I think even a 6 year old could outsmart you in a discussion.

5.  damn that really hurt me...I just can't figure out why you always show the same pattern...the discussion is about top spin, you know that you got no chance to win an argument about top spin so you come up with some personal bullshit which I won't dignify at all...but if it gets you through the night have fun making up more of that crap

6. Yeah Dave, my reputation is so horrible on the pc tour, I'm just not everybody's darling like you, I gotta admit that  As I said in my very first post; you're so humble, modest, fair, smart...can't keep up with that. "many people are indeed with you" I really love this "indeed" with you thing, your creativity in terms of violating every single basic rule of this language makes you "quite enjoyable"

7. Ok let me draw some conclusions as well, we've spoiled this thread enough I guess (Squi's idea was really good but I had a feeling things would go this way again, sorry):

I beat you 10 out of 10 times in ITST matches, you congratulated me 0 times. Yet you act like mr fairness on the forums, I don't know, it just doesn't add up. Others which are amused by your excuses as well never told me you congratulated them too, so I'm just a little confused (maybe because of my "limited mind" ) It also confuses me that it's obviously impossible to have a grown-up discussion with you as you never stick to the topic but always feel the urge to write about your fantasies.

You never were a force on the tour, yet you need to tell your "most knowledge/ most talented" stories all the time, I'm sorry but again, how can a guy that won 3 small titles in 3 years seriously make such a claim?

You know I just never liked you because you are a pompous, selfish, dumb prick. To be frank. You never liked me because I was better at you at this game (I played a lot more than you, that's for sure) and felt free to address things when you were coming up with excuses, cheating (oh yeah I forgot to mention your glorious cheater days from 2005-2006, let the drop shot returns fly baby  , my bad buddy), personal insults and so on....of course I often started silly, stupid arguments myself back in the days, that's true

Slicer: sorry this has gotten out of hand again, as so often when my buddy dave (I like you in some way) and I happen to meet each other in one and the same topic, I hope (or maybe not, it's always fun) this was the last part of our feud

Dave: feel free to come up with your childish attempts of winning this discussion by talking about everything but reasons for you being a talented player, I'm looking forward to a good laugh!

1. Surely the impossibility to play because of a very bad connection is more believable than the simulation of an heart attack when someone was losing 2-0 as number of sets.

2. As usual you speak about head to head, titles, victory/losses, stats without knowing anything: the head to head are 3-2 for him(only once he destroy me and it was at RG on clay this year), i have 3 titles, dont know how many reg tnt he won, however not so many as you told me before.

3. I made an infinity number of semifinals dude, before i refer to the most important ones, i.e. the Grand Slam semifinal and final.
In the Masters cup you won in 3 sets but, if you remeber well, you have many difficult in deal with me both in second and in third set...you should learn not to invent stuff dude, at least when you speak with me, you will be unmask very soon... :x

4. I dont seem that you outsmart me...maybe the contrary...
And, i f i run out of the argument is because im costricted to talk back to your bullshits...

5. The truth HURT sometimes, and this is one case in which you accused the shock.

6. Sarcasm is not enough to defend your own position dude, you have no arguments to debate with me in a polish way: referring to my "bad" english you lose many points at the eye of the readers...

7. Think to the consequences before provoking some people dude, once again you are wrong dude

You beat me 10 out of 10 times is the first true thing i read in your whole speach: it happened that sometimes i didn't congratulate with you immediately after the match(when i lost after a tough battle i was often angry) but surely i did it some days ago without any troubles.
Excuses!? With who did i excuse in the past?? I sinceraly forget it however i believe that it's the umpteenth crap that you take-out...

You continue to mention "my small 3 titles" without beeing up to look that my remark didnt strictly concern your **** stats...dumb prick seems more appropriate for u this time...
One of your big faults, apart the capability to distort the reality, is not to able to make your deals: you need to speak with everyone about everyone in gamespy and not only i presuppose; and many times you well out of some "friend" to talk dirty about others...definitively you are an half-assed person. You dont deserve to remain in a such similar fantastic community.

May i just add that if Rafa wins more th[a]n 103 points at the masters cup and paribas open he will take the itst point record away from Ced.

That is cool to know. He is certainly most deserved of it!!

On the xbox TS1 I can't speak about Mr Jingles and Mr Ger. They played the first season and I was playing on xbox connect and kai at that time. I do know that Vincanity was a better topspin1 player than Fred allthough it was a great rivalry. Overall Fred has had the most distingushed career spanning both TS1 and 2. He is the master of adaption. On Topspin 1 when everyone else played risk his style was unique. Some didn't like it, others thought it was amazing. I was the latter. I couldn't touch him on topspin 1 even though i could give both Vince and Norb a run for their money at times. Anyway I voted Vince but I think Fred should get some kind of award. Nobody has done what he has on the xbox tours.
