I am having a problem too. I used the patch that came with the CD and I can play the game all right. I can also join online games on GameSpy and choose my player etc. But when we're both ready, and it starts to load "Waiting on opponent", my game crashes :(

Anyone know what's wrong?

in wich folder you must put the OnlinePart.dll file. Because you said "drag the OnlinePart.dll file from the Patch folder into this folder".But wich folder is this ?? :?

You have to copy it to the main folder of Top Spin. So if you installed the game on C:\Program files\top spin copy the file to this folder.

If you done it well it should ask if you want to overwrite a file. Say yes to that.

I think you did it ok. If you got the original version of the game it should work online now.

I saw you were from Belgium so:

Volgens mij heb je alles goed gedaan. Als je de orginele versie van het spel hebt zou je nu online moeten kunnen spelen.

Perhaps before you copy and paste it, you should first extract the file, because it does not work if you use the zip file.

Hello,

This sounds like an async problem. You think you are winning or moving; and, the other player is not (or he is losing). However, actually, there is a problem with the connection. You may also have different scores on yoru computer.

About the waiting for player screen, do you mean the loading screen before you walk on the court?

Because, if that is the case, that means, you must make sure that player one is selected as the keyboard, and the gamepad is on the other players.

Let me know if this helps . . . if not, I tried my friend.

See you around,

I have installed the patch and when I play online it says:
I host a man enter I press "Launch Game"
And this message comes:

There was an error that prevented the game from being launched. Check to make sure the game is properly installed and that the path is correct.

Sorry but I'm FRENCH.
I have installed the game properly !

Hello,

Make sure that the keyboard = PLAYER ONE.

Make sure that controller/gamepad = PLAYER TWO.

Once you do this, let mke know if the error persist.

I am sorry Slicer, but, how did you know that he did not have the original version of Top spin? You asked him?
