VOTE: US Open SIM

Postby bergkamptheone » Tue, 22 Aug 2006 14:40

Hey Simmers,

now that the last Grand Slam will start in less than a week i wanted to create a vote and ask: Who do u think will win this event????

Here are the favourites(in my eyes):

ThierryH
He is maybe the best player on the hard court and almost unbeatable. But in last times some players could also take a set against him so he probably can also lose a match on hard. Nevertheless he is my Top Favourite for the Crown.

Federer

On clay he is THE best player which he proved by his RG Win, but on hard he has not the same strenght. He is still a excellent player and so also a attender for the title.

Mar7xion
Number three in the world and always good for great results. He was a long time in vacations so i don't know his shape. But his skills are brilliant and so he is a favourtie as well.

Steppl
An oldie under all those young guns in the Sim starter field. His strenght is the clay court as well. On hard he has some troubles also with his nerves, but he can show great matches, which makes him to a favourite as well.

Bergkamptheone
Well.... What shall i say??? - My favourite court is clay and i am in a no-good- shape at the moment. So i think i won't be such a big favourite like the others.

DaveCze
A young gun with amazing skills. He showed some great results in the past and has still potential for more. So i think he is an underdog candidate like....

Punisher
His developement in the early past is amazing and his skills are very nice. He was often near to a surprising win against for example ThierryH but never did. Maybe this time....

Others
Here are still some good players in. For example ChristianSpin, a newer TopTen player or SundanceKid, whose power i got to know very good in our last match. Not to forget Slicer who made a little comeback for this event, but Fcup as well who proved that he is not only a excellent Reg player. Other names also: Derrida, Jo_Tennis, Python, Elargento  .

VOTE and write a little explanation why u chose ur choice.

thx in advance.

Postby PABLOMARDEL » Wed, 23 Aug 2006 02:45

hello to all...

I believe that there are two exelentes players able to gain the one that is for my the best match on hard surface. Thierry has demonstrated that its better tennis plays on hard, but to federer is one of the three better players of the world and I believe that both but to be enabled to gain the U.S. open. luck to all...
and does not forget my,, jejej
bye
