Did I say Federer? I meant Nadal. Typo.

Nadal vs Federer

Postby Licoaldo » Sun, 11 Jun 2006 22:09

heheheh...

Federer keeps saying on interviews that he is always one step closer to beating Nadal and that he's getting better and better on clay and that he says to play aggressively but at the same time waiting for the right moment to attack and that he has to be patient and all that stuff...

But the way Nadal plays forces Federer into playing risky all the time. Otherwise, Nadal will hit every single ball back into play...But then, if you play risky all the time and try, for instance, to go for the definition on the parallel on the run (like Federer insisted), you'll end up making too many mistakes...

And that high ball full of top spin on Federer's backhand destroys his confidence.

In short, Nadal is always favourite against Federer. Except on grass and carpet I guess.
