Nadal is still able to win tournaments! A Masters even!

Apparently!

Only because Djokovic couldn't really be bothered, though.

I hope this one lasts.

Nadal winning is a surprise for sure.

He's clearly just found another source. 8)

But hopefully it lasts. I want him to be competitive at Roland Garros this year.

He could be the next big man to beat Rafa in first rounds :P

Oh, I was meaning Rafa with my post.

But yes, I hope DelPo lasts this time. He will get a decent player in the early rounds, so we'll see how he does.

Good tournament by Andy despite losing the final. Proved that his 2015 title wasn't a fluke. Funny that his two victories over Nadal on clay happened in Madrid. Rafa has improved during the clay season but he obviously cannot keep up with the top anymore. And Fed prolly won't do much in Rome but he still needs some clay practice for RG. This season might be his last one.

Well that's one tournament Federer is never going to win but he seems only to be 60% fit.

Thiem on the other hand is having a really good year so far.

Edit: 49th edition of Nole vs Rafa is about to start. I say Nole in 2.

Thiem to finish in top 10.

I expect a few great runs at masters....Majors - not so sure yet. Maybe a QF in RG with good draw.

I fully expect the same.

Also, what happened to Berdych yesterday? Against Goffin...

Another close win for Nole. He is not looking outstanding at all. The Roland Garros title may slip out of his hands again. His match against Bellucci is one for the books, it's mostly his mental strength that has won the days in Rome, today again.

As for Thiem, he might squeeze in a Masters SF but I don't think he is ready for a deep run at a Slam.

Thiem looks like a future #1. Might take 2-4 years for djokovic to stop winning everything.
