I updated the main mod installer, now with the infobar in 3D mode fixed (strike speed, 1st/2nd serve, deuce# indicator on the bottom right). You can just reinstall over it if you need it. (but then re-apply the no-ads as well afterwards if you want it).

The stretch bug when dragging the scoreboard on the extreme left, or to the right of the screen, will be more difficult and take more time to fix / find out i think. So for now, you'll be fine keeping your scoreboards on the left, keeping them 2-3 units from the border. it's probably due to something with display ratios and some wicked init in a sub-menu, i couldn't find out right now. so if you have a display issue, just move it a bit on the X axis.

Also, when you change a scoreboard ingame, it won't show up right away like in previous versions. It needs a court reload now, wich means relaunching the match, to see the change. That's an expected behaviour. Dynamic loading will be back later, probably after next TE update (Manutoo will bring a variable wich will make this easy and straightforward so i'll wait for it).

elias remains the best modder & asset of the Te community ! You should put the screenshots of 1.17 on the first page, it's a very nice work the ITST stat board, it adds realism

New scoreboard (match statistics) maybe looks quite nice, but overall this is huge mistake in my opinion.
Its only a scoreboard but really this makes game a bit uncomfortable.

1) Not clearly readable like old one, probably because of font shape / small font size / colours.
Barely visible with who we play at the top (nick, elo etc). I have a 23" LCD monitor and I need to strain the eyes to read it (1920x1080).
2) During game we don't see total score only score in current game
3) Scoreboard which shows up after every game is covering the chat entries.

100% Agree with Don.
New scoreboard looks great, but the information density is too low. Lots of colors and empty spaces.
Would be great if we had 2 versions of ITST. One with old 9-10 scoreboards and other with new ones. I don't think they would cause desynchs themselves.

Well that's your opinion, not everyone opinion. This "huge mistake" (lol) has been the more demanded feature for like 1.5 years, now it's here. The nick is in large characters at the top. The elo and stats are not at the top, they are in the side panels. Agree the atp font, used in a smaller size in the side panels lacks clarity, so i may enlarge them. someday.

2) During game we don't see total score only score in current game

if you cant's see the whole score then your install is bugged/messed up. scoreboards are displaying the whole score.

Scoreboard which shows up after every game is covering the chat entries.

This one is a known issue yes. Not critical one, plenty of time to trigger the chat when it's not here. Though it
will be fixed, someday.

100% Agree with Don.

Well, you don't agree with Don you say the opposite, cause for him information density is too high (too tiny not enough readability). The statboard contains the same informations as vanilla statboard, in a smaller space, wich means more density.

Would be great if we had 2 versions of ITST. One with old 9-10 scoreboards and other with new ones.

Old ones were coded an old way. TE now uses a different method since a bunch of time, called "CustomHud" method.
They won't mix, and/or i won't mix them.

I don't think they would cause desynchs themselves.

Sounds like you know what you're talking about. Maybe you should have a shot at it.

Hehe I don't know who demanded and what exactly, but old scoreboard was fine, very clear readable. And that should be most important. New scoreboard/stats looks more cool, like in tv maybe until we want to read the stats . You know what I mean ;)

I have fresh install. Anyway I just fixed that, scoreboard can't be positioned at maximum to the left side (X axis).

I guess he meant too high density, but made classic mistake ;)
Anyway this is the problem + "technical style" of the font. Font could be a less bright too, bright grey instead of white maybe.

Nick is on top, a bit under that level we have super tiny ELO, matches count etc. Buttons to give "reputation" were very small in oryginal, now are even smaller :)

Well, should be, should be, for you. Feel free to mod them ! :)
you won't have any desyncs modifying scoreboards, uchiha is right about it.

This "technical" font is an ATP like font wich is used in atp masters statboards, indeed, it's made top replicate them, wich was the request made by lots of people to include in the mod, this specific design, so i won't change it. They already took me so much time i won't use my life on it going back and forth with everyone likings, sry.

Yes indeed, if you used some time to read the posts above in this thread you would knew it already.

Why to mod something which exists ? Question is just is it possible to get back to the old scoreboard ;)
Of course if it won't cause any troubles. I don't know were you serious with this modding or it was just sarcasm ;)
Btw you don't have to be nervous if not everybody likes some changes. We appreciate your hard work and a lot time which you losing on it. Final 1.17 is great, just this damn scoreboard :P

I was basically agreeing with Don about fonts being too small or not readable without some focus at least. I just phrased it wrong.

I remember, in Sam Meagapatch there are no scoreboards initially in the training matches. If I wanted scoreboards I had to manually type it in to something.ini file. But they didn't have everything. ITST scoreboard definitely have more information, so I'm pretty sure I can't mod it in myself just yet.

I figured if 2D court and 3D court difference didn't cause desynchs betweens players, scoreboards weren't gonna do it for sure.

Don is right about our little criticisms. We like the update no doubt, all we're doing is talking about scoreboard which is a positive sign since everybody is not complaining about certain thing.
Online and even in real world, we all know people usually give feedback if there is something wrong. You don't see pages and pages of people Thanking the company or the modder. But if there is a shitstorm you can be absolutely sure anyone that had problem will voice their opinion.

My point is a lot of people seem to have no major problems. #Everything is Awesome :tu

it's allright, i was sleepless for more than 30h yesterday so got a bit nervous/pissed off quickly i guess, sorry for that. Just slept a straight 14 hours

Well, when it comes down to design or fonts it's often difficult to please everyone, matter of taste, vision, etc.
In the various atp statboards made, indeed there was not all the stats available in vanilla TE statboard, especially
some we like to have like average rally length, thats why i never wanted to include these, as is. Thus the
modification, adding two stats lines, to restore original TE stats order and content, but resulting in more
information density.

So, these new sb / statb are here to stay, but let's say it's a first draft, i may improve them. The readability in
my opinion is not fully tied to the size / density but also relying on the font used, this ATP font is only writing in caps. But that is also part of the design identity of the ATP masters statboards. I could use a regular serif font, but they would miss the ATP look and feel then.

I may enlarge them in the future, and/or make them using 3 stats panels instead of 2, but, more straightforwardly, i think at first i'll simply add an option to use TE blue vanilla statboard, along with the ITST1000 small scoreboard, as an option in the selector.

Hi everyone,

I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question so execuse me in advance.

First of all thanks to all of the guys who put in lots of hours to deliver this new Mod 1.17. I just installed it today and it looks wonderful. Just wonder one thing though, I occasionally visit both ITST and Mana Games forums especially to see if there are new anims available. I keep track of latest works of Lucian and I think he is doing an amazing job with these updated/renewed anims. I noticed that this new mod contains his new anims of the big four but not Monfils'. Will there be any upcoming updates once in a while to include these new anims and maybe other stuff made by all the great modders?

I am not a constant user playing the game as it is hard for me to create some free time but I must say that this is the best game I've ever played so thanks again for letting us to enjoy every bit of it.

Hello,

Indeed Lucian makes a superb job with animations, thus whenever the mod gets an update all his available new creations are included. But the mod doesn't get version updates that often (1.16 is 1 year old already), and Lucian Monfils pack isn't available yet (only show off videos for now), so 1.17 had to go without. Anyone
mod has to contain the same exact anims or this could lead to game desyncs playing online. Wich means new anims
implies a new mod version. Wich also means you'll have to wait for 1.18 to have these Monfils anims included. I won't update for one anim pack obviously but probably wait to have more content to update, that's just bad timing, however it may take less than a year to wait for 1.18 this time, but i can't guarantee it.
