Chat bug with new version (1.0e)

Hello,
I've downloaded the new version of the game (v 1.0e) but now I can't see the in-game chat anymore. I see what my opponent is writing but as soon as he hits "enter" the line disappears and, at the same time, I can't see what I'm writing. I can't even see the "1st serve" and "2nd serve" line and, sometimes, the tiredness bar disappears as well. Any of you is having the same bug with this new release?

Well, this already happened several times in the past to some people with updates. Not sure where it comes from exactly. Overall i'd say it's better to use only the small patch update for updating than using the full TE install over your current installation.

Now what you can do first, is going in your /profile/itst folder and delete the ITST.ini file. Then re-launch TE
and manually create again the ITST profile (this will re-create a fresh ITST.ini file), then recreate your bindings and preferences inside TE.. If this isn't fixing your issue, then you'll have better time to make another full/fresh install, TE + mod to have this fixed (if you do so, you can save your /profile/itst folder (not the ITST.ini, just the chars), and re-use it (overwrite) in your new installation if you want to keep some outfit changes you may have saved).

It said that I had to download the full version, I didn't know that I could choose to install just the single patch rather than re-install the whole game.
Anyway I'll try to delete the ITST file and create a new one, I hope this will be enough, otherwise I'll try with a new fresh reinstall. Thanks, I'll keep you updated

Well it's not an everyday rule. Some TE updates changing major/specific things would require sometimes a full new install. But most of the time, with sub-build small TE updates, you are usually fine going with the small patch update only.

I re-installed everything and now the chat is working. So, I don't know what the problem was but it looks like its fixed now
