good idea! topspin 4 servers always messing up but topspin 3 servers are not.

I would commit to a topspin 3 league. I think you would need 8+ committed people on the Xbox or ps3 side for management to create tournaments.

You should play on Tennis Elbow, already 50 suscriptions for Australian Open 1 week before starting
Your TS3 tour would be played by 10 players max, unfortunately...

Can TE be played with a Controller? I tried it with keyboard and it s very difficult...

@ C4ill- iv'e played TE well.. a demo version on my pc. thanks for showing me that btw. im just looking to play ITST tournaments regardless what tour it is. I hope to play TE in the near future im a huge tennis fan. so if it's tennis im all down for it

@My old friend ShwingerMongo : of course you can, Richie (n°1 ITST, winner of Roland Garros and US Open) plays with pad, as well as the n°2 Vramvrim.

@RockGamer : don't play the demo, directly buy the game and install ITST mod, the experience is far more interesting.
You have true animations for 38 real players (including Gulbis, Raonic, Haas, Fed, Tsonga, Del Potro...) with their realistic stats, real outfits & grunts, plus one hundred true courts with their very own physics and you can even choose the sounds of the shots, of the referee. For instance you can hear Mohamed Lahyani thanks to the work of El Croato, but you can also pick another referee

If you have any questions : go to the ITST chat where we all meet, discuss, organize exhibitions/practices... To access it : click on the subcategory of the forum "Tennis Elbow" --> "Tennis Elbow Chat". It's the place to be especially during grand slams or M1000, when everybody comment about score of other people matchs (thanks to the Tennis Elbow livescore feature in game, you can follow in real time the results of other guys).

Oh and by the way, with the challengers/future tournaments, even beginners and untrained people can have fun by playing official matches vs guys of their level. A lot of current top players like Richie began with these tournaments (dedicated to people ranked beyond rank 40+) and reached the top level

I dont play topspin as much as i used to but it does seem as tho topspin4 isnt gonna be concentrated on server wise now , tho the TS3 one is still up , I used to play regularly the TS3 tour and had quite fun time on it but I think the game is probably too dated to set up a tour on it again. I also think the same is the case with TS4. However whilst if anyone wants to play me on either game my id is Andymachine1. I havent tried Tennis Elbow yet , is it available on Steam?

Also C4ILL Can you create your own player in TE? Also if so can you use him in the ITST events / tour?

Yes you can create your own character of course, but you can't play official ITST matches with it. You have 38 players, and more or less 38 very specific styles, all balanced, it would be useless to play with a character created (especially with the problem of unbalanced stats).

And it's more interesting : for instance, when you pick Federer, you have a big Forehand, but the BH is random and has a malus on Spin shots (all Backhand with 1 hand have a malus with Spin in TE I think)...

This creates a lot of depth tactically speaking. Some guys will play a pusher style, 3 meters from the line and spam spins on Federer BH : you need to think about a tactic to get rid of that --> solution = anticipate that, and go inside out to hit with FH when the ball is at rise ! With the high bounce of the ball, you could even hit a shot at the shoulder level, which result in even more power

@C4ill- yes mate I fully intend to buy to full version of TE and install the ITST mod. also I have a question can you play WT on TE while waiting for the new ITST tournaments?

You can play World tour in offline career (there is a ranking with 1000 ranked ATP players and all tournaments : you can choose to start n°30 with full stats, or n°1000 as a Junior with bad stats) but not in online. People usually go on chat, and organize a lot of exhibition to get ready for official matches
Some top10 like pidzi or me even developed a system of "coaching" & academy to help beginners. For instance, I recently saw a guy loosing 6-0 6-0, I asked him if he has questions or need help etc.

Globally with the numerous challengers and futures you can actually play a lot of official matches (more than on Top Spin).

By the way, 60 people signed up for Australian Open and still a few days open for registration !

A Men's Singles (40/90) Top Spin 3 tournament is currently in sign-up.

The Australian Open - for both the Xbox and PS - has been created and will begin on Monday, January 20th.

Of course we will need TS3 players for this to work, so spread the word. I will send an email to all TS3 members later today.
