Who remembers "Super Tennis" on SNES?

I guess many of you did play this funny game back in 1991. :D

If we have someone who is a fan, i have a question to the charakters. In the american version, the male players are:

Matt
Phil
Meyer
Hiro
Rob
Brian
John
Rich
Steve
Mark

I remember once seeing the japanese version...and they had other names and were related to real players from that time:

lendou : lendl
obekka : becker
sancho : sanchez
chiyan : chang
edobouu : edberg
wagasi : agassi
mackun : mcenroe
sample : sampras
matsu : matsuoka

Unfortunately i forgot which of those players fit in to the english ones...only remember for sure Brian and Rich are Obekka/Becker and Edobouu/Edberg.

Someone remember who John was? He was a lefty but remind most on Agassi ("Wagasi"). And i guess Matt was Lendou/Lendl.

Awesome Tennis game---- perhaps one of the best. I "loved" the passwords to save the progress which had round about 50 signs..... would be great if there would be some kind of password save at TS5 ;-)

There was a topic a few years back about this game and other old tennis games...I posted a few screenshots from my SNES emulator; I had both the Japanese and American versions of this game....can't remember which character is which though, so I guess this reply is useless

It is a seriously fun game though...."Jimmy Connors Tennis' on SNES was good too, though not quite as good.

'Pete Sampras' tennis on Genesis was another fun one...I actually discovered a cheat code in that game (the first and only cheat code I've ever found on my own lololol) and sent it in to Electronic Gaming Monthly, I couldn't have been more than 10-11 years old...for the life of me I can't remember if it was actually published though. I want to say it was but I would have to go through my massive collection of old videogame magazines to verify that

I remember I wrote a lot of these passwords in the notice book given in the game ; unfortunately sometimes I didn't write well a letter and I could not start again my career... :'(

I was a player of Mayer and Bryan but I think I was more successful with the girls tour (playing with Amy !)
