lol I know that sounded harsh..... but for a Harvard grad, the guy had a really dumb approach to the game. He's not 6 foot 5, but he tried to play like a del Potro.

Didn't win a single set whenever something relevant was on the line. Sort of a big stink about nothing.

Yeah, I was referring to his final set record initially. Especially 5 set matches, he just couldn't get it done. That said, I kind of liked his HULK SMASH PUNY BALL attitude, largely because he was using such a lopsided ground game and everyone knew how to beat him. Still got him briefly inside the top 5!

Dddddaaaammmnnnnn, Hewitt takes out Del Po!!!!

I like Juan as a player and person (seems like a genuinely decent humble guy) but I'm also psyched to see Hewitts still dangerous. I like his playing, always have. He's one guy who pretty much maximized his playing potential and you have to respect that even if you think he's a douche.

He had problems before the match. I wasn't surprised. http://www.tennis.com/pro-game/2013/08/del-potros-left-wrist-still-hurting/48940/

Will make things little easier for Djokovic.

What's the current situation in New York? Is there any chance of resuming play?

Robredo breaks :D :D , good start, it would be awesome......, although i want the best players for QF, SF etc, and Fed is better player

Federer 2 sets down.. He's making some really poor choices when have chances.. He tries to wrong foot roberdo but everytime roberdo keeps standing at the same spot.. 3-5 40-15 great opportunity for federer which he missed

P.s I can't believe that b.p for federer is 2/16.. Federer keeps hitting flat bh over n over again.. He is hardly using slices

It was federer's own fault.. he was stubborn enuf to keep returning roberedo's serve with flat bh even when he clearly saw that this tactic didnt work in the first two sets.. but again roberdo came with some unbelievable shots when federer had opportunities.. Lol nadal loses the first set as well.. What if he doesn't reach quarters too

Us open might never witness fed-nadal match ever now..
