Level on TS4

Postby JohnCurveo » Tue, 16 Jul 2013 12:25

I know u will say the opposite, but for me actual level of gaming is higher on TOP ranking than last year. I think top guys now would be able to face Sh0case and Fifa Tee way more than before.

My game has improved a lot since i changed my Babb to Rabari, and even with that old level i was able to serve to put Fifa to a 5th setter. Or i had some set points against Sh0, also witrh old rules i had 2 BP in the 3rd on Mutua Madrid open to win against Sh0. I also played Poumadoro and few other old guys i can't remember.

I think actual level is way better than last year, at least in the first positions. We might not practice like before, but we know the game a lot.

Now, kill me.

I totally agree. It's to bad Fifa tee only played wimbledon at Xbox Tour where he won every match in straight sets, I'm sure he'd have alot more trouble to win PS3 Wimlbedon.

Today at 21 will be the match, and i have no recorder, my 60d is piece of shit, stops every 12 minutes. Just can't wait to face the best returner of ITST in good form. :D

I t was very very touch, 2 set points 4 me on the 1st set, 3-1 up and serving on 5th, and 1-0 and break on 4th, but Dennie, Dennie is just a beast, it's not easy to hold vs the best returner of history of ITST 8) . I think some shots where MUST SEE. A shame we didn't record the match.

I felt saturated in 4th set, really saturated, it happened with Ivo also in RG, i feel like i can't play anymore, my mind is just ****.
It was an amazing and beautiful match, some unrreal shots.
Im gonna take a rest, im really saturated, against Hassan i was really out on first set. Too many matches.

Congratulations to the beast, Dennie! See u in the future!
A lose is really painful when u see u could have win the match, but it's a game after all, and Dennie was the best.

Very tough match indeed.. I inmidiately got a break behind in my first serve, luckely I broke back right away. Rest of the first set it was John dominating his serve games and me struggling to hold every serve, couldn't believe I made it to the ti break where I started very focussed and took a big lead instantly which i didn't give away.

Second set it got to much, I couldn't get a hold on John's serve yet, my returns where not strong enough and John played it really well I got totally dominated. 3rd set it was a mix of the 1st and 2nd set, John was the better player for sure and I'm sure he was stunned I came back to 5-5, I never expect this either, but logically he broke again right away and won the set. I had alot of trouble hitting my best shots.

Change came in the 4th set where I suddenly won 6 games in a row after being 0-1 and a break behind, my timing went a whole lot better and John's serve didn't go as well as before. Also my returns went much better and I could finally controll him more on his serve. 5th set was kind of a blur tbh lol, I didn't even know anymore that I was 1-3 behind. All I know is I came in front 5-3, John held his serve to 5-4 and I only tought one thing, I can not lose this serve game, which i gladly didn't. A dropshot at 40-30 decided the match.

This was a strange tournament for me, I felt the underdog in alot of matches and honestly didn't expect I would win it, but I managed to play really well in some crucial parts of the matches so I'm glad i did. Props for John, now together with the #1 Obskur the best player on tour. Great match mate.
