I did hear Riis his team will loose the points of the last year gained by Contador. That means they might loose their license.

Almost 70% of the team points last year !

It looks like it's the last UCI's trick to fight hard against doping... But it can put in danger a lot of employees... (I don't know how many people works for Saxo, but I guess there's a lot !). So I don't know... I like the idea, but...

LOL ! But I agree with you... It's for Evans this year... God he's so ugly on his bike ! I hate his style ! :D

I heard about de Gendt and Peter Velits. Indeed they could surprise some people ! Hope so ! Always cool to discover some new guys ! Last year I liked to discover Van Den Broeke, Boasson Hagen, Rolland...

Van Den Broeck is a good catch. I forgot about him. He is a junior world champion ITT and a good climber. He might just be the best bet to defeat Evans this year.

btw Ullrich banned 2 years for blood doping, mmm a bit late no?  , this guy was my favorite rider.

Along with his loss of a podium placement in the 2005 Tour, which was won by Armstrong, Ullrich will also be stripped of his victory in the 2006 Tour de Suisse. Spanish rider Francisco Mancebo, who was also implicated in the Puerto investigation, moves up from fourth to third in the 2005 Tour. Ivan Basso, the second-place finisher in '05, also served a two-year suspension based on Puerto evidence. all 3 guys banned

Not sure, but I think Fuentes is having some good time in an island somewhere... Maybe he's surfing with Sakaguchi at Hawaii... :D
(But I'm pretty sure he's still "working"...)

Jan Ullrich, the only German winner of the Tour de France, has admitted to doping for the first time, with the help of Spanish doctor Eufemiano Fuentes who ran a large-scale doping network.

"Yes, I had access to treatment from Fuentes," the 1997 winner of the Tour de France told the Focus weekly in its edition to appear on Monday.

"At that time, nearly everyone was using doping substances and I used nothing that the others were not using."

"In my view you can only call it cheating on my part when it is clear that I have gained an unfair advantage," he argued.

"That was not the case. All I wanted was everyone to have the same chances of winning."

Please guys when we have to realize that everyone uses "doping" substances?, if i was a tennis player (it's an example) and i knew my rivals are taking doping substances i would do the same, otherwise it would be a non sense to compete against them.
I'm against doping but we need to clarify what we want. We want guys playing 6 hours tennis matches?, guys riding 3.200 km in 21 stages?, guys running under 10 seconds?, swimming like dolphins?, if we want all that we need to allow them to take "something", you don't get all that by eating bananas.
I'm a sportsman and...playing 5 hours tennis at THAT intensity some pros do is barely....impossible, not gonna talk about cycling, swimming and athletics because it's well proved everyone takes something in those sports, everyone that wants be the THE BEST of course. I can probably ride 250 km with my bike but not at the speed the greatest ride and climbing mountains like the best guys do.
I don't wanna be hypocrite, we want all that spectacle? yes? so allow them to take all those things, we want clean sports? ok, perfect, great, but please don't ask for the same results.

Competition is all that matters - not the extent of the competition.

Competitive sports (close games, close matches, close fights) have always been amazing, even back in the days when the numbers were nothing like the numbers of today.

Gotta get rid of the numbers. No more record keeping. That, and quit paying athletes gobs of money. The winner of Wimbledon should get a basket of fruit. Nothing else.

Problem solved (as long as there aren't any athletes who really like fruit).

And now the last "clean" French (Jalabert) is caught (even though it was really obvious). His communication ? :
"I can't say it's wrong, I cant' say it's true..."
