But yeah, I imagine Big Bill Tilden would beat Serena, and pretty easily - with modern equipment.

I heard a similar story where they played doubles against two college players. Apparently, the college players were smoking cigarettes on changeovers, I guess just to rub it in, and beat them very easily as well.
Chris Evert once said that the pro ladies were more on par with very high level male club players.

Henin beat Yannick Noah in a friendly right? Age difference has to be 20 years or more for top players to make it competitive.
Serena probably hits harder than Simon but her footwork and speed isn't half as good. And she needs to take much more risk.
