Which one is the clown and which one is the mental giant :??

Berdych had the worst draw I've seen in a while, monfils then gulbis.

If Murray wasn't injured nadal would have been the five seed instead of berdych. Nadal better send Murray some Christmas cookies this year.

Monfils in 4.

La Monf' in 5. Gulbis losing patience after losing the 2nd or 3rd set. May the weather be hot and dry ! (well this isn't gonna happen...)

Nadal would have been rank 4 anyway.

Gulbis in 3, duration: 2 hours and 7 minutes
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Monfils was led 3-0 vs Berdych too, that doesn't mean anything these head to head with such an irregular player who is only interested in Roland Garros (Monfils) and tournaments in France like Bercy.

...did I mention these were 2013 results? ON CLAY?

Safe to say that in order for Monfils to win, Gulbis has to play bad. Which is very much likely. But should Erny show his recent form - Gael will be nothing but a puppet running from corner to corner, getting tired, injured etc...

Ahem are you basically saying that a great defender (aka Monfils playing well) can't beat on clay a great baseliner (aka Gulbis when playing well) ?

In this particular match up - yes. Overall - no.

Eevryone has got a chance, obviously....but we are here to break things down :D so it is a bit more fun than: Gulbis will win, why? Because I said so.

Of course I think Monfils can win, but if I had to put money on something, putting Favoritism aside - I think Gulbis NOW has a better, more proven, longer Form.
