Competitve but not so Serious

I love the idea of playing TE2013 because it gives you the idea that you're playing actual tennis. For me when playing each that I was capable of playing whether it was me hosting or not I kept trying to figure away to beat people or trying to keep up with their level of play. I think on a serious note we all should hate losing but at least it let's us know that we're not Tennis Elbow "masters" like we thought. I have had the opportunity to play tennis on computer and in real life which I take more serious than the online tour but regardless which one I still hate the losses and it doesn't have anything to with what character that you utilize during the tournaments. Some people blame the character that they use, believe me I have on many of my loses but it didn't affect me when I lost to good people and I mean REALLY REALLY GOOD!! I have come to the conclusion that regardless of what rank everyone is capable of a loss or a Serena Williams' bagel LOL and the people at the top of the rankings have to understand that it will happen regardless of how long you have been number one. Anyway enough of my venting, lol Good luck to all and remember don't have a heart attack over losing because it won't be the last one! -Calebb0469

Same here. I play tennis regularly in real life and this TE 13 sums up the real life nicely. There are other games.
But I haven't played top spin 4 which looks really good from youtube videos i've seen. It might be more realistic.. Who knows.
Virtua Tennis 4? More like what you play when you're dreaming rather than real life.
So I think this game is pretty good which is why I'm still playing it.

At the end of the day stick to one logic. This is game and you're supposed to enjoy it (unless you gave up your life and trying desperately to reach the top 10).
If the game is laggy, quit it. You don't have to deal with people's bullshit. If you're too angry (like me) just alt+F4 out of the game. I do that a lot, and the downside is you lose about 40 ELO each time you do that. Once you get these logics registered to your mind, the game is awesome.

So many characters to choose from, and even the worst like goffin and llodra can do some damage. Really nice to hear all those different grunts and outfit players like the way you want.

I agree with all the things said but on a scale of realism from 1 to 10, TS4 would reach a 3 max. when TE deserves at least a 7 with the ITST mod.
