Promoting the ITST tour!

Postby djarvik » Thu, 14 Apr 2011 15:02

Hi Guys!

As the new era of Top Spin 4 begins on ITST, we once again ask for your help to grow our tour. These are exciting times for all of us, tennis games fans!

A few ways to promote:

- One way to do it is to use intertopspintour.net in your gamer profiles and in your bio on Xbox 360 or PS3. When other players look up your profile they will see it and hopefully log on to our website and see what we have to offer.

- Another way that always works is sending a post match PM to your opponent, asking him to come join us in our tour. This is the most effective way, but I do understand some may not want this type of interaction.

We have a lot of exciting things planed for TS4 for this year. Things like Challenger and Future tours, that will allow players of all levels compete and reach later stages of the tournaments, maybe winning some titles. At some point we will start assembling the Davis Cup teams and play out the Davis Cup.

There is more planed, but everything has its time ;)

You can use this thread to exchange ideas of how to promote our tour.

Thanks guys!

Since you guys are in touch with 2K, couldn't you ask them to mention this site in the game with the upcoming patch?

That might get shitloads of cheesers coming here though. We only want cool people

Also thanks for the Future events Al, I may need them to win

But it would bring in a whole load of other players too. We can always gradually get rid of the cheesers. The more people who experience ITST competition, the better.

We've even been known to convert some cheesers to fair play.

Also, we will begin with a doubles tour soon. Hopefully there will be enough interest.

You shouldn't be afraid of attracting cheap players...as long as they don't do the character hack thing (120 FH, etc) I don't think how anybody plays should be an issue

VERY IMPORTANT NEWS!

2K has launched a TV ad campaign on The Tennis Channel. This means that WT will be full of new players. In fact, only after one day of advertising the member count on WT players at the same time jumped from 700's to 1,700s.

I just wanted to stress how important it is to invite players to this site after you play them on WT.

We have a wonderful chance to gain tons of new members and have our draws of Pro, Challenger and Future tournaments full for years to come!

Thanks guys!

Hi guys, I was just thinking: if the admins are ok with it, I could translate the rules of ITST in Italian too.
I saw now also FAQ are available in Italian, so I had this idea.

Didn't know where write this post, so if it's not the right topic, I apologize.
Anyway let me know if it's a good idea for you.
