Sorry but what does this have to do with your match against polca? How does it affect you?

I played inseedious a few days ago and he's in a moving out situation so it has to be hard for him to arrange matches.I don't think giving him 3 days of extention is that big of a deal, since it's so difficult for him to play..

To be perfectly honest and fair, I think the best decision for this match is a no match because it paralyzes the whole tournament !! :D

Dafuq I fail.

Well I mean deadline is already passed, and someone should have a Walkover or a No match

I'm TIRED :x

And i'm asking for 1-2 extra days to play the QF, cause it wasn't really in my hands if we played this R16 lately.

Match points saved in both matches, btw Inseedious had the lead 4-2 in the 4th set, dunno why, in my mind at this moment it was like i already lost the match and was resigned to, so i played more relaxed, and then scored 4 games in a row.. go figure. We also shared two breaks in the 5th set. And the final Tie break ended 11-9 :o

i'll survive !

Great matches from both opponents, not so good from me at start, but i'm starting to recover from my bad swing, well i hope so. Sorry i don't have the strength/will to comment more right now.

R16 stats aren't complete (last tie break lacking, cause i forgot to set up a Tie for the 5th set since Olympics final, so we had to restart, sry again for that Inseedious).

Granted. ;)

And by the way, I find it disrespectful to my work as a host when people question extended deadlines (it's the first time someone did question it ;)). I read the PMs regularly, know what is going on behind the scenes and on this basis I decide whether to extend the deadline or not.

And look, if I had not extended the deadline a match with such an interesting scoreline (Elias vs. inseedious) would not have taken place. This is much better promotion of what ITST represents than to say "At ITST deadlines are taken literally!".

Yep Vmoe you're perfectly right : personally I'm 100% for the extended deadlines. Walkover and No match kill the interest of a tournament. It's better to wait and have a great tournament ;)

Sorry for no letting comments on my previous round. I didn't really had time. So i'll try to sum up my actual way in this tournament.

I met the great Algo on my first match beating him 7-6 6-3 7-6. Well like usual, tied match and a good performance from Algo. I would say that he was more efficient against me with an offensive style. Indeed, he showed some good offensive opening with Ferrer but still i was stronger on the baseline and more dominating. Thats what i think about it.

Concerning my next round against Goroger, well i didn't really feel disturb at any moment. The match was only limited to big serve and lot of aces on two sides. I simply tried to tied at the end of the set in order to get a break advance enough for me to get the set on my side. Last set, he totally lost his consistency on his serve where i managed to close the match.

Fox(Federer) def. Knight (Federer) 6-7 6-7 6-3 7-6 6-3

Well a lot of things to say about that match. First of all i knew that this match would have been a tough one as Knight is a rising player on the tour who had beat some big names such as inseedious, Vmoe.

Handling the match was pretty hard due to the bad game condition. We were affected on two side but Knight seemed to be better than me dealing with this issue.

Like in most of my toughest match i could only rely on my serve wich was difficult to maintain. Unfortunatly i could not maintain it till the end, loosing the first set 7-6(0). Second set was pretty the same old story but i managed to last a bit longer in this tie break, loosing 7-6(5)

The main problem in this match was my return. I wasn't able like 3/4 of the time to hit some good return either on first or second serve. My return stayed neutral where i started to get confuse and frustrated.

Being leading 2 set 0, well you should try your best to catch up where i was able to hit some good returns getting the first break of the match. I holded my engagement getting my frist set.

Then i've been drowned again where Knight push me to the tie break. Lucky for me, he made some mistake due to those bad game condition, i managed to keep those short points advance and get the fourth set.

Back on track, i tried my best to kill the match, and i knew that the early 5th set would be a deciding factor. Just like in the third set i was able to return better and put more pressure on his serve where i got an early break leading 2-0 then 3-0 holding my serve.

More dominant on the baseline since the end of the fourth set, i won most of the rallies which wasn't the case at all from the begining. Getting my first match point i managed to take that opportunity and get out of my toughest QF.

That's already two lag reports.. :/

Too bad because on my side i could play some friendlies with Knight in pretty decent conditions some weeks ago (everytime with several desyncs in the first game though, wich indicates some packet loss..). Any connexion issue arising recently Knight ?

The match against me yesterday was also difficult to play due to the lag.
Just like the first time I played him.

C4iLL (Llodra) vs Elias (Djokovic) : 4-6, 6-4, 2-6, 6-4, 7-6.
I dedicate this victory to the Mutant Dimitrov, to Amaz and to all my partnairship (Indian, Bullet, Robbin, Marco, Polca, Elio, Ace etc thanks men !)

After 2 very close defeats in quarter at RG (vs Kyuji) and at Wimbledon (despite leading the whole match..), it's nice to reach a semi final of a gran slam.

First set, I was breaked at the first game, and I never had any opportunity to get back.

Second set was absolutely close, I had 1 break opportunity which was a set point, and I surprisingly win the set on a huge return.

Third set, at the beginning I had a little mental advantage, had several break point opportunities but he always saved them. Just afterwards, he broke me, and broke me another time : 6-2.

Fourth set : by the past I would have give up, as often this season, but I was a warrior today ! I saved break points, he was dangerous, but I managed to go to 5-4 and as in the second set, the pressure was so high that he failed for the second time at that momentum : 6-4 for me.

Five set : I had the feeling I was more dangerous than him on that set, but never suceed in getting a break.
My service game were easier to win than before, I found some patterns to disturbe his returns.

On his side, he was struggling to win his service. At 5-4 I put a lot of pressure as before, it was like 30-all, but he saved his service.

We finally go to tie-break. I hit an ace at first point but... It wasn't a tie-break lol : it was a service game, we forgot to set the tie-break for fifth set !

We then rehost etc, the pressure failed a bit, I managed to get 2 breaks, but I **** up my services with 2 double faults I think.
Afterwards, we got a huge freeze on my service (like 30 seconds or more) whereas I was just rushing the net : fault of course... I asked Elias to replay the point, he was okay (nice spirit !).

We had several match points, played a huge point at 8-7 he won (I told myself pffou, what a mental he has to play like that on a match point).

And finally I won 10-8 or something like that.

I'd like to congratule him because today, both of us clearly deserved to win, only one had to pass, it's a bit random to finish on a tie-break 10-8 after more than 1 hour of game, it's as if we are both the winner of this match with only a couple of points which separated us.

Elias will publish the screens etc I think who must be very interesting !

Congratulations on your win C4iLL!

What an upset, this has to be your best victory so far - until the next one of course! :)

It looked like even though Elias struggled with his matches in this tournament, he always found his way through and manage to win.
So coming back from 2-1 sets down and taking this in a 5th set TB is an amazing achievement, especially against such a great player.
After all, it is the quality of the defeated which brings glory to the winner.

This result is also a huge step to qualify for the ITST World Tour Finals, even though there are a few new players rising quickly who play incredibly well!

I bet Elias will now enjoy some time off and then come back with full force being the champion that he is.
