Haven't checked if it's been already posted but i recommend you "Les Intouchables" (2011), a very good french movie based on true story.

I love how movie shows the friendship between Philipe, wealthy quadriplegic man, and Driss a poor guy from Senegal that applies for the job of taking care of Philipe just to get his certificate signed and get his monthly unemployment check. Driss helps Philippe to loosen up and.... well i don't wanna tell you more about it but it's a good story.

And if you like music from the 70s you'll have the chance to listen songs like "September" or "Boogie wonderland", just great!!!

I don't like french movies but i liked this one. It made me laugh. I recommend it too.

Also i recommend all Lars Von Trier movies.

I heard good things about that movie. Ill make sure i watch it soon.

Into the wild was a movie that was mentioned here. If anyone hasnt seen it i would urge you to do so. Really good movie.

Intouchables was one of the best movies that I ever watched, so you have to really watch it.

(Not that I'm a big defensor of Lucas : To me, he completely raped Indiana Jones and the StarWars movies, but I never thought he would sell the goose that lays the golden eggs... ^^)

Anyone seen Skyfall yet? I wasnt really sold by it as a regular film. For a Bond film it was good. Not a classic film as a whole though.

I liked it. It's kind of getting close to being 'self-hating' though, like the subtle jibes at the past films. This was a good blend of old (gadgets, cars, drinks, women, villain) and new (dark tone, 'getting to old for this shit', bond having only a small amount of power and a sense not everything is in his hands etc)

Haven't seen Skyfall, but I think a bit of self hate is OK. I was a huge Bond fan for a long time so I gave the films a lot of leeway, but Pierce Brosnan looking smug in his invisible car finally killed it for me.

I do like Craig a lot better as Bond. Casino Royale was good, the one after that was mediocre.

Getting to old for this shit is kind of funny seeing as these bond films are situated before the other films. I see what you mean though. Its like they've seen the success of The Dark Knight and went the same direction. Dark tone, a hero that is in constant struggle with himself.

Somehow i kinda miss the ridicoulosness. I want to see bond drive out of the back of a military plane on top of the fuselage of another plane. Pressing a button that makes the car magnetically stuck to the plane until it lands. After landing he slides of the wings right into the arms of the bond girl of the movie. Thats the bond i grew up with.

I liked Javier Bardem as villan. You could pick him up and put him in an old bond film and nobody would notice.

Watched an older Christopher Nolan movie called Following yesterday, pretty interesting story. Premise is a bored guy likes to follow people around for no reason, and one of the people he tails for a while ends up being a burglar who gets him involved in some serious shit.
Timeline jumps around a lot kind of similar to Memento, it's well done.
