Simple question: Do you hit 99% of your shots with perfect timing?

Keys to being successful

If you're going to go crosscourt angle, you better be damn sure you hit it perfect every time.

Footwork is everything by the way. Once you figure the footwork out, you'll be able to compete with the best.

People who can't keep up with the top players lack footwork.

You always have to have a strategy if you want to win. Not blindly hit crosscourts. Get in their HEADS. Mix it up down the line sometimes. Deep shots and mid range.

I try it with this Setup:

6-6-8 with 4-0 (FH/BH) and Bickham.

So i have a big Forehand and can play S&V sometimes.

But is so hard to find a very good setup. :-)

How do you figure out the footwork? I watch the in-game clips people have uploaded, but I'm not able to have that kind of footwork, what is the secret ;-)?
My player doesn't seem to run that fast as other players.
I am struggling with this, but I don't improve the footwork and because of that the timing gets very difficult and the shots become bad.

Please let me know if there are any advice.

Yep good footwork without good shots is useless. Its the combination of good footwork and well timed shots. You also need to know when you hit a slice, top spin or power shot. most of these things comes by practice and experience.

Also when I hit a deep shot, after the shot, the player moves into the court which puts me in bad position for the next shot. I always have to move the player back again, which takes unnecessary time if have to move sideways... maybe I should give up this game ;-).

No. When I do a deep shot I push the stick forward and after the shot the player moves a bit forward, after a few shots my player is halfway into the court...

In first time sorry for my english.

When i started to play TS4 i think like you. I thinked that footwork and timing were the ways to a grat player. But before 4 or 5 losses against Shocase by double 6-0 im very sure that the most important on TS4 is tactic. Is the ability to know what kind of hit is the better to do in every situations, with every players, and against every kind of players

Was easy to beat Fifa Tee but is horrible to play against Shocase
Fifa tee yes
ShoCase no

I dont like The players that do a forehand slice to defend, i think that forehand slice shouldnt be allowed..

I will never show ShoCase my real level, I prefer lost 6-0 6-1 and that he Thinks that he is a god in that game

You were too good for me. It had nothing to do with the fact that I was Tomic and you were Nadal

Make sure you beat me next time we play okay, ill be expecting an efficient beating.
