it's washington D.C. , you can find the court in the mod. By the way you can play on any court having the same color code (see match rules surface list), eg. Indian wells, us open .. etc

Just lost 6-2 6-3. First time online and I really don't want to play offline ever again. The difference between the timings offline and online is huge! I couldn't serve first or second in the first set, was crazy. I got a little timing back in the second but it was too late.

It was pretty laggy, had some turtle in the top left hand corner every 2 minutes..

Lags are often due to a not that stable wi-fi connexion (ping varying too much or waves interferences), it's always better to use a wired ethernet connexion to the modem when you can for gaming.

You can check ping stability in a dos box using the "ping -t yourispname.*" to check if it's varying too much. If so you can still try to get your computer closer to the wi-fi base to get it more stable etc.

I will come back for my revenge Dimitrov! That was my first online match ever on TE 2011. I had no timing unfortunately because of lag and general online play on a game. But my match against Eliomelma was much better and showed the player I am, because I found the timing from our match towards the end!

Elias (Simon) vs. Polca (Soderling) 6-2 4-6 6-4

A good match vs Polca, wich was interrupted two times. The first time we decided to stop after the first set because we played with many annoying micro-pauses (turtles) cause his wi-fi connexion had some issues. Obviously i handle those lags better than him probably because i have a longer TE experiences so i got used to play sometimes with lags (though i hate this like everyone).

We restarted the match today, wich was interrupted @ 2-2 because of a connexion loss. Most of the time we holded our serves, and he broke me at 4-5 in the second set, playing a very good game. Most of the time he was very difficult to break because of his very good serves wich i struggled to return, or returned soft balls wich leaded to some 1-2-3 punch for him. He showed a better positionning from baseline and less errors than in our previous matches, and played a very smart tennis against a counter, giving me a lot of soft spins and slices, and attacking wisely when he could see a good opportunity, the smart way to play against Simon, hats off for a good tactical sense :)

In the third set i think i could return better than in the second, and he also did a bit more ue's, i think i got two breaks, leaded 5-2, he broke me back and holded his serve to 5-4, and then i could close the match, serving 2 aces in this last game.

There is no pertinent stats to post because of game interruptions but i'll post the replay from the 2-2 in the second second set.

gg Polca, you definitely improve your game, becoming a serious challenger, especially on fast surfaces i guess :)

Wish you the best in the next draws !

Yeah thanks, and congrats for this victory Elias, although the problem wasn't coming from my connection, it was coming from my game. I had offline lag and I downloaded the game again, no problem since this time.

About the match, Elias played great as always, but this time I think I annoyed him more than usual. I don't know if it comes from the court, but it was a huge satisfaction to take a set from him. He played awesome counter shots, which shows that in great hands Simon is really one of the best challengers on the tour.

Congrats again Elias, and good luck for your next round :)

And I had my R16 match against inseedious tonight: VMoe86 (Tipsarevic) defeats inseedious (Söderling) 6-4, 7-6 (0).

I really enjoyed this match! inseedious is the best server I've met so far, it was at times scary how good his serve was. Maybe Tipsarevic does not have good reach on return, I don't know, but so many times I just could not get to the ball even when I did everything right. I was superior from the baseline and lost in total 9 points on serve, 2 in the first set. I got one break in the first set and had another chance to break there, but his serve bailed him out. He was serving intelligently, too, mixing it up well and sometimes I made the mistake to guess -- ace... I really wanted to slap myself in the face when I did that.

In the first few games of the second set he got into some of my service games: I remember some 15-30 or 0-30, but keeping in mind his serving performance I focused and did not make any mistakes. There were not a single break point in the second set, so it went to a tie break. The last three service games I held to love and the tie break, well, I certainaly did not expect to win it 7-0, but I was focused and finally he served a bit worse.

Good match inseedious, if you improve your baseline game I don't know how I can break you and have to think of how I am going to hold serve. :)

Here are the stats:

Robbin vs C4ILL replay (6-3, 6-7, 6-4) http://www.4shared.com/file/tgDu52Ov/20 ... s_Rob.html. An impressive battle !

First time I record a demo, and it was a good idea. I play amazingly well on the baseline sometimes with Llodra disgusting his berdych despite the stats (on 2nd set and 3set) and I was huge on services (25 aces I think).
It was maybe one of my top3 matches in terms of level, and my top1 on baseline.

So If you want to watch that, I really advice you to skip the first set where I didn't play at the best I can, and where he just broke me and that was over.

The second set is really interesting with a really high level, me playing at max of capabilities, Robbin playing at a very high level I think, the tie-break there are amazing points, and the third set too.

Nice, i'll watch it :)

4Shared is not that nice though mate, as it asks people to register an account for downloading stuff. You should use Mediafire or Rapidshare or .. Deposit (still deposit annoys me with their captcha everytime i have to download something).

i'll post your replay in the media section.
