Thank you. Spot on.

I think what RAE was alluding to is the fact that TS4 feels very different from match to match. Which I agree with. Whether its lag, glitch, hack - whatever. It does feels "different" lots of times. Not necessarily because one is a bad or a good player or having a bad or a good day.

Top Spin 4 is a great game. It is just insufficient in its depth. That's all. Doesn't mean its not fun, fun is very subjective. From Competitive Gaming point of view, my personal opinion is that it is too shallow. Just too little options to play and win, you either gravitate towards them - or stay frustrated trying something different and be called "garbage player" because you have no wins to show for your efforts.

Yes to occur without someone close, but I think that since the update TS4
A lot has deteriorated and is absolutely unstable. Also, it seems to me so quickly that a player has a great shape and the other very quickly a bad shape.

What causes the games to win no more, because the have a great shape to come clear victories (6-0 6-0 or 6-0 6-1).

The game seems unstable without end.

VMoe you obviously know what I mean, the tour is 90% control shots. Don't take me so literally!

I'm fine with being called a garbage player of TS4, I'll embrace it. Its a good title in my eyes. 8)

Lol I don't take the game so serious TBH. I just play for fun and ye I kind of like it. My point was that you might not know the game well enough to judge about it. Your results show that. But ofcourse I might be wrong, no need to argue about that it doesn't matter who is right or wrong. And sorry if you felt personally offended that was not my intention.

I'm not nearly offended, I'm never bothered in real life or on a forum what someone thinks of me. I don't take myself seriously at all, and so I can't please everyone.

My results don't show anything. My games I always pushed my opponent, I just never had enough concentration to get perfect timing on my control shots at vital moments and basically throughout the whole match. I still hit those angles and winners though. And TS4 isn't that deep of a game to learn, I actually bought the game release day but sold my PS3 shortly after.

How can the control shot gameplay gives fun, it's nothing like tennis...

In tennis you prepare your shot and you release it : it's exactly the mechanism of powershots in TS4

Control shots mechanism = suited for Dance Dance Revolution, not a tennis game. Sh0case must be very good at that girly game I bet.

I hate control shots myself. Infact till December I used power shots only but playing against zooloo and other top guys back then forced me to learn control shots. This is the only way to beat top guys. Control shots are not boring if mixed well with power shots but someone who uses 99.99% control shots flat and top spins is boring to play honestly

I can't see how guys play TS4 with only control or only power shots. I have to mix it up all the time, and even come to the net or I just feel like its the same thing over and over each point which gets really old to play after awhile

Personally I never played more than 2 control shots in a match. It maybe explains why I never get great success since the last update.

Fifa tee always laughed about my powershot style...

Control Shots = No fun.

And by the way, I was playing as a SV, so I didn't hit a lot of shots from baseline that much ;)

I dontt think the game is garbage! In my opinion the game got worse before the update making control shots with perfect timing impossible to defend. Players use power shots after taking you way out of the court with a crazy angle control shot. I agree with djarvik saying that the game is really inconsistent, and imo 2K doesnt seem to put some much effort in the game to try making it more realistic. Ive stopped playing TS4 first because of the new games that are way better than TS4 but mostly cause i couldnt adapt to those crazy control shots and was losing every game without even making 10 points a game, so it wasnt fun at all for me.
I hope they make a better game with TS5, but want to repeat that ts4 its a good game to play if you find someone with the same level, but to play here in ITST you have to be really consistent and the level of some players was too much for me.
I think thats why a lot of old players just left the game and not playing anymore tournaments.
There was great players like Zooloo, Tigerofintegrity,Elgogrin, murmeltier, poumadoro, among other players that are not seen in the draws.
So i just stopped playing cause i couldnt keep up with the high level of the players here and the inconsistency of the game, and not because the game was bad!

Fact is...

The best Game was Ts4 without Updates.
At least the last :-(
The game has bugged them...

Best Game:

TS4 without Updates, than TS3,
than Bullshit boring Ts4 Table-Tennis-Badminton with UpdatesBug.

And as for Ts5 ...

Only 5000Days sleep, then it finally comes

I think that's why I suck as well. :D I rarely play control shots. The whole concept makes no sense. And I agree, being very good at something that's not fun at all isn't the same as being only average at something that's actually fun.

I would agree:

TS4 without december patch > TS3 > TS4 with december patch.

So a simple question to the ITST crew:

Why not simply allow anyone to play without the patch instead consider it cheesy?

If all players don t use the patch, the control shot players (Sh0Case, Fifa Tee, zguen etc) can still play their control shots, and the power shot players (like myself, RAE, Coolhand, Norberto etc) can play their power shots.
