Need a new coach

Postby jayb1988 » Tue, 10 Jul 2012 13:04

Despite an improvement in my results on the Men's side of things, since the rule changes I've really struggled to pick up a victory in the Women's tournaments.

I've tried to stay with Babb, as I like having a dominant serve and it served me so well before the rule changes. For whatever reason, despite having similar if not better serve/power stats, I can't quite get back to serving as well as I used to with my new player. I then get bogged down in long rallies and struggle to hold more than I ever used to, with my groundstroke stats being much weaker than before.

Does anyone have any advice on a coach which can give you a good serve, but also have FH/BH stats in the 70's/80's? I want to stop this losing streak before I plummet down the rankings!

How much power do you need?

Try the silver coach Kensuke Nagano

One example:

FH/BH 82/82
Serve 69
Power80
Speed 54
Agassi forever!

Neuwirth is the best power coach easily. I just get annoyed with the lack of speed.
Norberto H or bust.

Ben Fillion (IOM, Diesel Server)

Good speed but lacks wings.

Cheers for the replies. I was going to go with Neuwirth but couldnt get him and was too lazy to create a new player specifically for that.

I ended up going with Rabari, as his speciality is power and good rallying skills. The stats are similar to Ben Fillion, although the special skills contain IR, so was hoping this would help me keep up in rallies as I know when I've played those with the skill at times they have seemed dominant and unplayable from the back of the court.
