is short control slice cheesy? i sometimes use it to change the tempo of the rally and to catch my opponents off guard especially powerplayers because of their low speed, what do u think?

Not really as long as it's not abused. The guys who just start slicing non stop when they're losing are hilariously ridiculous.

It is a shot I have been practicing/using recently. I find that most players miss timing on this one (because if we are constantly short-cross courting, I short-cross court with slice sometimes). Sometimes it allows me an easy winner next.
