Why not just hope for a solid top spin 5 and perhaps the culture around here will improve. I think quitting ts4 is fine but leaving ITST all together would only add to the problem of losing great members.

RAE, you should REALLY give a try to Tennis Elbow 2011 which is a lot better and realistic than Top Spin 4. Really... Trust me it's by FAR the best tennis game ever created and the most funnier.

It's the only one that make you feel you're playing on a real tennis court when you're playing it.

Roman, it's 3 years already! :P

Iluv is right, TS5 might be good, quit the game not ITST. C4il is right too, Tennis Elbow is worth a shot, give it a few hours and once you learn the basics - sky is the limit of what is possible in that game.

BTW, thanks for all the TS3 matches! I remember we played a LOT! :D

Thx guys for the words...

---> Thx Djarvik :-)

the only funny game the last weeks was the game vs San (german)
French Open... I lost, but was ok, cause absolutley fair.

But the games after this match OMG!!!

To late, every time abort, but i have nothing problems with systems abort.
And after this aborts, my opponent is many better and i many badder???

Example: Wimbledon

first set 2-3 and 30-0 my feeling was good, good timing, and hard balls!!!
After system abort...set 1 3-6 0-6 1-6???

I can over 15 games not win, and my player has no stamina more in set 1???, and no power, no serve, very slow and my opponent is very fast, has more power.

Felt as though he had practically my player???

I think more and more that it's not on my player?
Is there a trick? I understand this not really ...

I do not win, but just want fair games, fun games anymore. That's all! And if I did not find out what that is ... trick, cheat, or whatever comes on ..... then I hear all the me that is very strange ...

Can not be that I've forgotten everything. I do not think so.

Thx mates...

Hard but honest... 8)

Actually, I'd say forget about TS5 entirely, to be honest, and focus on TE (which I have yet to do myself blah blah, but been a tough last year in work) - Djarvik nailed the problem perfectly - TS4 is a commercial, sell-as-many-copies-as-possible game - TS3 wasn't - with the commercial success of TS4, it's impossible to imagine TS5 won't be more of the same arcadey-appeal-to-the-masses garbage (sorry, it is, in terms of the sim-like TS3 - no need to reopen that can tho...ahem) - some interesting innovations, sure, but it's clearly trying to please all of the people all of the time...a practice doomed to failure before it even starts.

What's happening with Tennis Elbow is genuinely exciting to me - this a tennis-lovers labour of love - the motivation is to create and evolve the best tennis game possible...NOT sell as many copies of mass-appeal as possible - take some words from the wise (not me, the above folk) and give it a go - the controls are WEIRD and difficult/hard....but recall the first time you tried TS3....? You can do it, and the investment....well, hard to imagine it won't be worth it.

For my part, I hung a good load of hope on TS4 addressing the problems with TS3 (evolving), but...well....a lot of folk didn't see TS4 as a step forward...more a side-step, or even backwards, from the perspective of great tennis video-gaming.

Right - am defo scheduling time to get TE sorted out...been away for too long now :D
