Don't think i received the memo. Whats the deal with short cross court shots? Some players can hit these shots consistently in every rally, sometimes fast short cross court and sometimes extreme angled. Even though I hit deep with topspin most of the time and trying to hit an angled shot when the opportunity presents itself. Am I missing something or is it really that easy to hit these and I'm just not good enough? I feel like people are hitting these shots flat but angled like topspin and they fly across my screen With my good anticipation I generally get them but they get an easy winner afterwards..

I think timing is the most important you need perfect timing to generate a good angled shot. The second thing must be your FH and BH skills. I can't hit good angled shots with low FH or BH stats and i usually hit those only with my stronger side.

Out of 10 shots I roughly hit 6 perfects and 2 goods 2 not so good.. I can hit angles but some people just seem to be able to do this on every single point I feel I need to know how to keep up

FH, BH, timing but also speed to get in a good position are the keys for perfect short cross court shots. MD makes your control shots also better....

they hit 9 of 10 shots by perfect timing and one shot with good timing.

Well it could be me just setting them up when I played them. I've played like 4 matches since I've come back to topspin as I used to play TS3 here and never got started on TS4 so I recently started back up after a year. So I don't exactly no the ins and outs of the game as yet but on WT and my recent ITST matches the cross court fest is unreal
