Ribery is the only French player who's giving me the impression that he actually wants to win this match.

There will be one goal from Benzema with a pass from Nasri.

Spain did what they had to do and France couldn't do what they had to do :D

In Germany, we would call this an Arbeitssieg, a medium-hard fought victory that was never really in danger.

Next: THE IBERIAN DUEL

Take Ronaldo out of the game and you win.

That must have been one of the most boring football matches ever. France was just terrible, and Spain should be ashamed of themselves. Absolutely awful, makes you want to turn the tv off and never watch football again.
Never thought I would say it, but in the semis I'm supporting Portugal.

:'(

I don't understand the french players. The offensive players looked like they had no motivation.
So much pass missed and ball lossed, it was unbelievable. Especially Benzema who was the worst player on the field.

I could write 10 pages about the reasons of such a result but I'm not motivated ^^

Someone else watching England-Italy?

Very defensive match up, 0-0 after 66 minutes.

I guess Italy will take it very late...

Yep, good match, not defensive in my opinion though, both teams trying their best to score, i'm having fun

Not that defensive no. Both teams just keep the space tight when in defensive by dropping back quite far. Nothing bad about that. Fun match, not the best quality but thats okay if there is some thrill.

Would have been awesome if that overhead kick from Rooney had gone in.

Didn't see the match, just the shootout. What a horrible penalty by Cole though..

I'm hoping for a Germany - Portugal final, with Germany winning.

...Germnay never beat Italy in a World or European Championship to this day... :(

I hope we can do it...but it is the worsest matchup for us. We lost to Italy back in 2006 when the WC was in Germany.

I don t see how Portugal can beat Spain...Ronaldo is just 1 dude.

You guys were saying England Italy was a good match? Jeez. England couldn't make 3 passes in a row when they had the ball, and Italy passed it so slowly I could fall asleep before it reached the half way line. :?

I think it was fair to Italy to go through though. They played much better than England. Guess me dreams of Portugal-England are off the cards. :x

The tension in the air was so thick, you could cut it with a butter knife  during the whole match, and that made that this was one of the most boring matches in ages, but who cares
