Nope, i don't think so, but anyway next year will be interesting to see if he's gonna be able to be the first player ever in getting 8 Majors (same tournament i mean)

"Now we have to stop, always the same with you," Nadal told the Tournament referee Stefan Fransson

"Both players didn't have any comments about bringing them back on the court, even if it was spitting a little bit, Fransson said. "I told them that when they walked out. Then of course, Rafa was disappointed, not happy, whatever you want to say, when we stopped in the fourth set."

Yep. I am with Rafa and Xavi here

First stoppage was when Rafa was rolling, second was when Djokovic was rolling. Both times the decision was made by the Stefan, he didn't even talk to players. Second time I think Rafa was frustrated because Stefan didn't consult the players at all, didn't ask them how they feel. It doesn't appear he wanted to stop after holding his serve, he wanted to go on.

I actually got the impression that Rafa wanted to stop earlier. He said something like 'now you want to stop eh, the court is exactly the same as an hour ago'.

But well, there'll always be different views on when to stop, depending how you're playing, what conditions you prefer etc.

Hi btw.

:D Hey man! Nice to see you back.

Yeah, of course he wanted to stop. Conditions plus the fact Djoker was rolling, it all added up in Rafas head. He didn't bitch on the first break, when he was clearly 20 minutes away from the title, he should have, as Djokovic should have at the second break. Before first break Djoker was frustrated, making errors in most 5+ shot rallies. After the break, Djokovic benefited immensely. Sure, not immediately, it took a few games, but to me it clearly helped him regained that ounce of composure he was missing to turn the tables.

What strange to me, is that they didn't ask players at all. Even at US Open when it was raining last year, they asked - they still did the opposite  but they asked how players felt. At RG, the seem to basically "tell" them.

In the WTA Rome final both players were asked whether they would continue or stop and both players agreed to stop (3rd set 6-6), right after Li Na did a nasty rain-caused split.

I think that with this victory Nadal has finally chased the ghost Djokovic away, he has beaten him the last 3 times, 2 Masters and 1 Grand Slam final.

Both Rafa and Fed checked for Halle, should be an interesting final =)
