Ok agreed conditions were tough and heavier. Rafa was not able to get that spin in his shots.. But he didn't complain when he was up 2-0 in third set.. Or did Nole complain while he was losing?

again what's the problem?, it's not allowed to complain and try to get what is best for you?, i'm sure that even Mr Federer aka I've never broken a plate in my life do that some times

I swear God i would do the same in that situation, if for whatever reason i'm not playing well ( not only because the rain, forget that, my opponent is just outplaying me, that simple), and i have the chance to influence umpire's decision and stop the match i would do it, no doubt about that

Btw i wasn't watching the match when Nole started to play better, was watching Spain vs Italy.......football always comes first

, so i'm posting without knowing what happened hahaha

i read somewhere that if djoker beats rafa tomorrow then fed will take over the number 2 spot again with a 50 point lead?

Can anybody confirm this?

Yes, that's true, but it won't matter for the Wimbledon seeding -- it will be 1. Djokovic, 2. Nadal, 3. Federer, 4. Murray.

How can you say that? I heard one of the commentators saying that If rafa loses federer will displace him and It will cause a massive change in Wimbledon seedings..

You could have looked up on the internet "Wimbledon Seeding" before questioning me.

For the Wimbledon Seeding they take the ranking as it is, but they add 100% of the points earned on grass in the last 12 monts and 75% of the points won on grass the year before.

Two years ago Federer was seeded first because of it even though Nadal was world number one. This year Nadal will be seeded second (no matter what happens today) because Federer only made two QF at Wimbledon the last two years, while Nadal won one and made a final.

as i mentioned before i didn't watch the match but everyone is saying here that Rafa was happy to stop when it seems that's not true....i don't think the referee Stefan Fransson is making this up

"Now we have to stop, always the same with you," Nadal told the Tournament referee Stefan Fransson

"Both players didn't have any comments about bringing them back on the court, even if it was spitting a little bit, Fransson said. "I told them that when they walked out. Then of course, Rafa was disappointed, not happy, whatever you want to say, when we stopped in the fourth set."

The conditions were hardly ideal but it was the same for both players. Losing 8 games in a row will bring out all excuses.

I previously stated Nadal is the G.O.A.T on clay. I should now slightly amend that and specify he's the Dry Red (not blue) Clay Greatest Of All Time.

Rafa was also complaining that the match started too late. And TBH 3:00 PM local time is farly late for a grand slam final, maybe they'll be moving it to 2:00 PM next year.
