Dolgopolov Raise the 2 wings consistency, so he can hit winners because against strong players as Federer there is non chance with him to close the point soon.

I think Dolgopolov is fine as he is: I can beat Federer on Master 1 with him. He is fast, he hits flat and with his speed you can position yourself well to finish off short balls. He is also solid at the net.

I've experimented a bit with stats for Nalbandian, Djokovic and Federer. I increased speed for Nalbandian a little bit (78%), lowered his wings slightly and for Djokovic and Federer I lowered all stats above 90% to exactly 90% or a bit lower. I also lowered Federer's speed slightly by 1 or 2%, each of his backhand stats lowered by 5%. So Federer and Djokovic still had their weapons, but a bit weaker and thus it was possible to defend better with Nalbandian and get faster to short balls.

In Tsonga's case there are not much adjustments needed: A bit more speed, Top 4 having at most 90% speed and it should be more balanced. And by the way, Tsonga is better than del Potro in Tennis Elbow.

More difficult to adjust are players like Nadal. I've experimented a bit with 70% spin (lowering all other stats above 90% to 90%) and it felt more like Nadal than the current version.

Does changing clothes/raquet and fh/bh/slice motions change the (Skill) CRC? I don't think so and I really do not hope so. I can't help but wonder who made Federer using his old six.one, when the Pro staff is all available for use Also, I can't stand the ugly white shirt....

For the clothes, shirt ecc..... I change always it and Crc number never change , for animations, i don'know, wait for Elias's answer.

Animations and Clothers will change with the new Sam Patch I think.

Changing your character outfit should not be a problem at all. you can choose another one it will not give you any advantage and will not cause technical issues because it's not a gameplay modification.


Though don't change animations, as some anims can give an advantage compared to another one, if you use a different setup, this changes balance. if we change a custom animation then we have to change it in the patch, being sure having all players using the same ones, i guess differents setups could maybe lead to desyncs as it's a gameplay modification and to play online all players need to use the same setup.

Okay, in that case, I want to suggested changing Federers fh motion to #12. It's much more Federer like than the one used now. Much more flick of the wrist, looks more balanced through the swing and the raquet travels through the air in a nicer way. Available for matches in 10 min btw!

if this is changed it has to be by the patch only, but don't change custom animations before playing matches. All players on tour have to use fixed characters with their assigned animations.

if we choose to change Federer serve motion, then we will set up this in the next patch as default.

I think the serve motion is fine. Just don't like the forehand animation and think forehand animation # 12 looks much more like Feds forehand

For now FH motion 12 is dimitrov & monfils motions.

If those setups are changed this will be done in ITST patch future updates, never by players themselves and/or every next monday; as the tour has to be played by everyone with the same setup. Though we may change or add new animations in the future for sure to improve the roster. Also i think there is some new animations available since so we can also look for better ones and include them

Since Build 81 ( => http://www.managames.com/Forum/topic15-5863.php#p88429 ), the rally strike styles don't influence the gameplay, even the Modded ones.
But as they are visually different, they can still affect what you feel about hitting the ball.

It's still needed to have exactly the same Modded strikes on both opponents' computer to avoid desync, though (coz actually, they still influence the racket clip, but that doesn't give any kind of advantage, as in all cases, the point is lost).

And the serve still has an influence, but all serves have been normalized in Build 84 so the advantages / disadvantages are very very small now (with the official game ; it might be different in Sam's Patch).
