Beat tonigno 6-2 6-3. Neither of us played that well, we were both making quite a few errors, but at the end Ferrer's speed and consistency were the main advantage for me, I kept the rallies long and didn't let Del Potro's power overwhelm me.

So Slicer and I played our match tonight or we rather did some experiments regarding Desyncs.

First experiment: Since he didn't have a version from March 8th, only from March 3rd, I installed a version from March 3rd, too, with Sam Patch 2011 and the latest ITST Patch. The Desyncs were almost unbearable. Somehow we managed to finish one set, but it was frustrating and annoying.

Second experiment: Both of us installed the latest version of Tennis Elbow 2011 (the one from April 2nd) and nothing else. Both of us chose the standard player, we didn't adjust anything. And it worked flawlessly online.

Third experiment: Both of us used the latest version of Tennis Elbow 2011 and copied only the "Profiles" folder from ITST Patch into the game's folder. Then you proceed as usual (create ITST profile) and you have all the players from ITST Patch with the correct attributes and CRC numbers. You just don't have the animations, outfits and courts. The best thing is: No Desync problem!

My theory: The Desync problem is related to Sam Patch 2011, see Elias' quote:

that Mod likely bundled some files from v1.0c that have changed in v1.0d, thus the desync.
In a general way, you shouldn't play with a Modded game online, except if you know for 100% sure what you're doing...

Reason: Sam Patch 2011 has still files from v1.0c, but the current version of TE is v1.0d.

Conclusion: Unless problems with Sam Patch 2011 are not fixed I suggest everyone, who finds these Desync problems unbearable, to play the game as I explained in the third experiment, i.e. do the following:

1. Install the latest version of Tennis Elbow 2011

and

2. only copy the "Profiles" folder from the latest ITST Patch into the game's folder.

This is not the official solution for the short term (not yet ), but I don't see any problem suggesting it.

for me it isn't true, if you have many experience with this game the good server was breakable easy. If him play against Kyuuji doesn't win a serve game, he played this game from many years

My oppponent is incredible hard, returns terribles and many experience. In managames tournaments ranking he is ranked #6 and he is for me that play this game for a month, unbeatable. In all my training matches i was in match, but against him there is no match. Good thing, in this way i want become better and replay against him. congrats kyuuji, incredible player

About the desync, I have these on the vanilla version too :/

Lost 6-0, 6-1 against Elias (Davydenko) with Tsonga.
He looked confident about his game and good ; personally it seems that I'm really not ready to be competitive
But I don't care, the game is fun, even in the defeat !

That was a good game anyway, and despite the score you did some nice points just a matter of practice with this game as i played it some months already, it's a good thing to know there is enough gameplay depth ahead to improve, i'll probably figure out the same thing soon when i will play against kyuji who has some years of experience with TE

Anyway things will really get better when the updated ITST patch will be ready, because for now this desync issue is too bad to play with, especially it seems to desync mostly on the host serve, so it's a handicap for the host right now. I think we should decide a pause in the tournaments until we get a working fix.

Yes Elias is very strong! Kyuuji is for now the best, this two players are the better in this moment, they should record their match

So there it is, I've played my match against kyuuji: Kohlschreiber lost 1-6, 4-6 against Simon. I can upload the .dmo of the match, but I won't be putting a video on YouTube (takes too long for me). The match was fun, especially the second set.

In the first set I started well, he made some errors and I held the first game -- just to lose the following nine games in a row. Some of them he won with ease, in some I got to deuce, but I simply didn't have the right gameplan. Either I was too passive, too safe with my shots or I went for too much. He played on a high level, put me on the defence most of the time.

Then, 1-6 and 0-3 down in the second, I found the balance. I was patient from the baseline, but also put pressure on him. Thus I could break him for the first time and got to 2-3. With Simon he was always able to hit some great returns, so it having finally broken I was a bit more confident even when he broke for a 4-2 lead in the second set.

I was moving well, defending well and probably lulled him into some errors this way. Suddenly I found myself at 4-4 and having triple break point. He didn't blink even once on the break points, maybe in one point I had a chance to take over the control in that point, but that's it. So I was serving to stay in the match. At 30-30 he hits a good drop shot, I reach it and smack it for a winner. So it is 40-30 and I take some risk: I attack at the net, he lobs, I smash -- desync! Argh, why! He then returned well to set up the following points, well played!

I have to agree on that.Yesterday we couldn't play a point with Slicer without having desynchs and ended up playing on the original game .

In my matches i don't have many desync problems. Only in last match the Ping was 640,550, we host match three Times and it doesn't changes but the fourth the Ping lowered to 147, very good. We must have patience for now. The patch will come soon
