easy win for Federer against Rafa, 6-3, 6-4, i couldn't see the match (sleeping in Europe) so i can not comment on the match, super Federer? crappy Nadal?, anyway interesting final against Isner.

Well according to Nadal, "Federer played fantastic and very aggressive, his was with high percentage, and i wasn't able to play my usual tactic against him due to the windy night"
That's funny because that wind gave him the win against Murray years back, when he was able to manage the situation better than Andy.

First time Federer beats Nadal on an outdoor hard court since 2005.

Federer played great, the windy conditions were terrible on Nadal it felt like he couldn't hit a clean ball out there, should have really been 6-3 6-2 for Federer but a mini choke, and a rise in intensity from Nadal made it harder for him to close it out.
Work me a boss.

Federer needs a low bouncing court against Nadal -- be it slow or fast -- so that he can take Nadal's top spin forehands early on his backhand side. Indian Wells is actually rather high bouncing, but due to the special weather conditions yesterday the bounce was lower, hence why Nadal's tactics didn't work that well.

If Federer wins against Isner (hats off for that match against Djokovic!), he is around 700 points behind Nadal in the rankings, so maybe he can overtake him in the rankings before the French Open and then he has to pray that Nadal falls into Djokovic's half.

Not that it matters since I never pick anyone else, but Fed seems pretty determined to get back to number 1 - I have to go with Fed.
