Keep me coming guys. This really helps. Try other players too.

By holding down and timing the serve right, you can get a really powerful serve, but, it will lack direction. So we are looking for serves that are powerfull and well placed.

Davy will be reworked a bit.

Guys, I was thinking of starting a test tournament sometime next week. I need more feedback on the players. All of them.

yesterday I played some matches with tonigno, I played with federer. I'm just getting used to the gameplay, so still playing with previews.

my impression: his service is easy to master and a big weapon, I scored at least 2 aces in every of my service-games. but I don't know if people just first have to get used to the way of returning in tennis elbow and this is the reason for so many aces or if federers serve is just too good, can't classify this yet.

Harrison,Fish and Kohlschreiber definitely play a more spin-friendly game to deserve a top spin rating more than 30% (31-29-31 respectively)..I think they should be at least rated with 35 t 40% spin.
Tomic on the other hand hits the ball very flat, you should lower him from 61%.

Baghdatis is one of the fastest players and a great mover,no way he deserves the same speed rating with e.g Llodra (only 75%).He might have fitness issues but that's another story. He needs more justice!
Dolgo looks slow compared to how he really moves, but I guess at 94% speed there isn't much more you can do (maybe it's the new TE build which has slowed things down in general).

Serves feel balanced and realistic, maybe you should lower everyone's serve a bit so that we have a more reasonable number of aces.

Raonic' net game should probably be around Berdych's levels. He can improve a lot in that aspect-he still can't finish many easy volleys, especially if they are flying low.
I also think his serving stats should be a little lower than Isner's,as he doesn't rely that much on the serve as Isner is.He generally works the points as well. That being said,Isner's forehand maybe could change. It's much more inconsistent but maybe you should add 2-3% power too.He really goes for it most of the time.

Excellent! Thanks Ugadalou.

Keep in mind, besides being "true-to-life", these players need to be somewhat balanced. Baghdatis for example, I wont argue here that he is far from "one of the fastest players" and since he is your country man (?) I understand where its coming from, but I think he is very good now. Solid, powerful strokes. Do you really find him slow? (don't compare him to Llodra, just on its own, do you feel he is slow?)

Dolgo will get reworked. He needs to be a tad faster, but more importantly, sharper of the ground.

Spin for Harrison,Fish and Kohlschreiber ...hm.... not a big difference from 31 to 35. Problem is that both of these players can go for both - spiny shots and rather flat ones. So we need to compromise. One thing that is missing in the game and I will talk to Manatoo about it is Spin for strokes needs to be separated. Fish and Murry, both hit a very spiny FH, but a significantly flatter BH ...etc...

Tomic needs reworking a bit, correct. Same kind situation, he hits both, very spinny and very flat - so we need a medium.

Serves - I took a note of it. Will have to rework serves for most players. We need to lower the precision and consistency. Power is fine.

Raonic needs a better net game. Noted. Disagree about the Isner concept, Raonic is MUCH more serve dependent then Isner and it shows:

I think potentially Raonic has a better ground game then Isner. I do agree about his FH.

Great stuff! Keep it coming guys!

I tried Murray and Simon :

Murray : I think Murray deserves a little more with his forehand ; he is one of the most accurate player in real life. But his power is realistic, not very strong, he is fast, and it's a pleasure to do a passing on his backhand.

Simon : Simon is great to play with, like in real life, he is accurate, he can play long rallies without missing his target, and he's not very powerful ; he is the most similar player with his real double I've ever played with (of course in the gameplay). I don't like to say it, but I think his backhand accuracy is a little too high

Thanks djarvik for all the work you did to allow us to play some wonderful matches here, it's just so cool to play tennis with other fans :)

Please take my word for that, nationality wouldn't affect my opinion when trying to make constructive crisitisism on what roster changes should be made!
Ok,obviously the ''baghdatis one of the fastest guys'' line was an exaggeration, but the guy is fast,he runs so many shots down with amazing retreiving skills and that actually is a vital part of his game...
I don't feel he's slow playing him to be honest, but I get that terrible feeling he does everything ok but nothing well enough.

You're right the game needs specific stroke spin.It definitely needs a slice stat as well.

What does this have to do with the serve? That percentage might be high just because he is very good finishing any possible easy returns. From what I've seen,Raonic gets more of his serves returned than Isner.

Just tried Roddick, Tsonga and Nadal.

Does spin % affect serve too? Because Roddick's serve seems very topspinny, even when I hit it flat.

Otherwise these guys seem fine. I wouldn't mind a little more on Tsonga's volley stats.

Fair enough. I still strongly disagree. Baghdatis main strength is not speed, it is striking ability. He is a "bad" version of Agassi. He is faster then him and less aggressive, but his game is very similar: Hug the baseline, take away time from opponent with clean striking. I think current player accomplishes that.

Well, Raonic aces more then anything on the tour and wins the highest percentage of points on his serve. Hence a more reliance on the serve then Isner. I think Isners ground game have improved a lot in the last 2 years and is really competent now. Raonic is the more talented guy, no doubt. But he goes for more and earlier in the rally. He is also more error prone.

@polca456321 - noted. Althou I disagree again. I think Murrays FH for the most part is sup-par in the Top 4, hell, there are a dozen guys on the tour outside of Top 4 who can hit that shot better. He is consistent off that wing and has a nice spin going, but ask him to hit down the line and ...

Murray and Simon shouldn't be clasified as ''defenders''.If anyone deserves to be a ''counter'', it is them.Classic examples of players who use their opponent's power to direct the ball, sometimes with even more pace.

Even though that easily changes,I suppose it will be against the itst rules to interfere with the player's style, or anything else.

I thought about it, especially so for Simon. He is definitely a counter. But there is no complaints from people about him so far. As for Murray, he is a defender by choice, he can be an all around, but not counter. He is too good to be a counter.

BTW - the reason we didn't use the Counter style, is because it is considered overpowered by many. Although now that we will control the stats, we can make it work.

Not sure about it,but when I raised my created player's top spin from 25 to 45%,I noticed that he almost never missed 2nd serve kick serves (top spin serves) and I thought it had to do with this. With low top spin,I missed many kick serves.
So I guess that yes,it affects the serve too.
