I meant both. Try to play with no auto positioning and no previews. Can you record the match? We need some good examples of game play!

This game looks great and I'm going to try to grab it at some point and join the tour. But I'm moving this week and starting a new job on Monday, so not going to have much free time in the next few weeks....and I'm sure that once I actually get the game I'm going to want to spend a week or two against the AI just to get the hang of it.

He should play with Elite, slow auto-positioning and no previews -- everytime I go back to Sim with slow auto-positioning or Elite with average auto-positioning I find it easier to play risky shots. For example with Elite/slow I lose like 3-6 or 4-6 against Pro 3, whereas I win sets with scorelines like 6-3, 6-4 on Sim/slow, Elite/average. Tested it with Federer against Djokovic and Söderling against Verdasco.

It was the first..

But I don't know with which controls.. where can I see that?

edit. I see it, played with sim controls

Arcade or SIM? If you don't change it, in default the game was to Arcade

Excuse me but there is a way easier, without change names in folders, ecc.....just install bandicam and without change something you can record and it create for example vlc file. You can just choose the botton that you want for play and pause, for example i choose R for record and P for pause. Just try it. It is an example of this make from another itst member

The game isn't even that hard. Yesterday I played 2 sets after not playing for 5 days. I ended at pro 1 and now tried pro 3 with slow auto positioning, sim controls etc. Did lose both 6-4 and 7-5 but 2 times I lost my serve by a weaker game where I had some lack of focus. I like the fact that a moment of weakness gets punished. Normally I dominate in my serve game though, which is a good sign I think. My return games can have some improvement though..

But I already figuired the gameplay out, I love the positioning in overall, and I know exactly which little things I will need to work on to perfectionate my play. In the beginning I tought Master lvl was impossible, but I now realize I'm definetely able to get to that level at the least. Still hardly played the game and already on an acceptable level when I look around on the forum. I already feel against pro 3 that I can kick his ass when I'm fully focused. Just need some practice hours, still only played about 4-5 hours in total as most.

Wont join the tour instantly, because I don't want it to get mixed up with topspin 4 tour which I also still like, but I will make sure that when I'll join the tour I'll be ready ;)

Without auto-positioning, it's hard to avoid aces no ?

@DennieFR1908 - who are you using and against what player?

Want a better challenge? Play against a Top 4 with a second tier player, or even third.

I find it that when I use Fed, I can compete with Master level, losing only once my serve, but if I take player like Kohlschreiber, I can barely hold my own against a Pro 3.

Try to play online against some ITST guys too, they have more random patterns then AI typically has, a better challenge.

Hmm....avoid Aces? :?

It is harder to return - yes. You can move back and "push" the ball back, or you can press the shot button, keep holding it until the opponent serves...your player's auto-positioning should kick-in and "lean" him towards the side that serve is going. You can then release quickly and you should be able to cover both angles. The draw back is that you have to pick your return position very carefully, and if the server is GOOD, you will rarely produce a powerful return, although you will be able to get the ball back. I think this technique is perfect for guys like Ferrer, Murray, Rafa....they can usually get to the next ball and counter attack.

Do you guys turn off the 'Helper' (eg mark showing where the ball is gonna land) when you play?
