toningo thanks for the link but I can't seem to get it working cause that patch is for version 1.0c not 1.0d (which is the latest and only one available for download).
If anyone has sam250's patch please share it with us.Cheers

Hey Moral, have you tried the pad for your 360/PS3?

I connected my PS3 pad to its USB sync cable, and plugged the cable to my Macbook Pro and it works :)
I used to think I was indecisive... but now I'm not so sure.

I played a lot that game by the past, and it's a really great tennis game.

- It's by FAR the best ever career mode in the history of tennis games.
You have the top 1000 of the real ATP players, every tournaments which are played in real world (from challengers to grand slam everywhere in the world).
You can begin as top 30 with a character who has good stats or as a top 100, top 1000.
Here you gonna start from scratch and it's VERY difficult, because your character sux, and you can only make him progress if you go far on the tournaments : and if you do a good tournament one week, and the week after you fail, your stats decrease and you go back to 0.

The stats of the other star players decrease too, they retire, young players stats progress etc. The world looks very dynamic in fact.
And the engine IA vs IA is really amazing and realistic, it's always interesting to see who has won what tournament. There's also a Davis Cup.

- Graphics : there's a mod (sam Patch) that gives you more than 100 real courts, real animations and clothes for every players in the game, and their own grunts. Really impressive.

- The online is fun too with no lag.

- The weakness is that it's difficult at the beginning and that players slide rather than run. Playing at the net is then difficult.

- About an ITST tour : there's a similar tour that already exist for years I think on the official forum. Maybe you should contact them to offer your infrastructures in order to merge the 2 tours.

Hello,

I'm the author of Tennis Elbow 2011.

I want to answer a few questions that have been risen in this topic.

1- it's not possible to cheat online through Modding the game ; the game engine works in a way that if you mod your gameplay, it'll create Desynchronisation when playing online and it won't be playable at all

2- You can usually install Mod made for a previous version by not copying over the .Pak files within the Data folder ; depending of the Mod, it may or may not work, though

L Sanchez MD,
you get free updates for the current edition (ie: TE2011); there's no new edition planned for now; but it'll have probably a few additional updates for TE2011.

eliomelma,
if the demo works on your PC, then the full version will work as well, as it's the same program.

El Rey & Firderis,
if you're able to play TS3, you should be able to play TE2011, it's different, but not more hard to play.
Basically:
1- you position yourself
2- you press the strike button
3- you aim left/right
4- you hit the ball
5- you release the strike button
all done ! ;)
The difficulty is that in most tennis games, you have to do 5- before 4-, so here, just don't forget to do it in that order.

quackshotter,
the videos linked are mostly by Lucian86 who plays with Arcade controls, which give very little bit of unforced errors and poorly hit strikes. The default controls are "Simulation", and if you want more realism, you can even set them to "Elite".

That's an interesting approach... it sounds good.

Can you see your opponent's control type?

I played that game when the patch didn't exist, I didn't play it for a while because of TS4 etc.

I've just seen recently some videos that show how the patch is, and how the different players look in game.

i'm a bit lost about PC games, any issues if a Mac guy is playing online vs a PC guy??, this may be the stupidest question ever but like i said i'm not an expert

I've got the hang of the controls on arcade mode... nice simulation game. But I'm too poor to pay €20 for a game that doesn't have proper volley animations etc. (Not dissing - I'd way rather buy this than GST2, but probs won't get either.)

Rob ITST,
when you create an online game, you have to specify the type of controls, and both players will use the chosen ones.

El Rey,
you're welcome ! :)

Moralspain,
unfortunately, Mac version doesn't support network/online games. If you have a dual boot with Windows, you can install both versions and start Windows when you want to play online, though.
