Directional keys way better for shot placement

Postby Tantsutallinn » Wed, 15 Jun 2011 09:22

Hey guys, how many of you are using directional keys for shot placement. i have tried it instead of left stick and im impressed. It is more suitable for heavy hitters, because its more difficult to run with it, but shot placement difference is huge.

i got beaten in the RG QF 0 1 and 1 and im sure my loss wouldnt have been so easy, if we both have used the stick.

In ts3 i was playing with the dpad. Now in ts4 i was forced to learn to play with the stick.

In the beggining i was a lot frustrated but now i prefer the stick because you place the ball pretty much where you like e.g in the feet of your opponent.

Occasionally i try to play with the dpad and it feels so weird now

im surprised most of you use the stick, i guess i was paranoid, that i lose because of the dpad :D

so i guess i am losing just because i dont practice at all, sounds more logical 8)

I hate the d-pad personally, it hurts my hand to try to use that thing...

Same for me.

Plus the control of your player feels much more natural with the stick.
Furthermore I'm so used to the stick that when I try the D-Pad I end up using the stick as a reflex.

To be honest, never tried de d-pad. I´m already used to place my shots with the stick.

Thats right.
I would actually prefer to use the d-pad as am used to it from TS3
How do I use the dpad in PS3?
It defaults to left analog stick and there is no option to set dpad as the one to use.
