Clearly it's the greek people. Maybe they should pay taxes instead of smashing plates and organising FIFA teams..

Hey! I take offense to that statement.
We don't break that many plates. And besides, it's mainly the kids having some harmless fun.

Please mate please, don't you see that comnent is completely unnecessary?, sometimes i can't believe the posts i see here are real.
Nothing wrong to discuss about the economy,it's great if you ask me, but not this way. I'm fed up of editing posts so please mate go ahead and edit the last part of your post.
Never underestimate the pain of a person, because in all honesty, everyone is struggling. Some people are just better at hiding it than others.

Yeah come on...I mean, I don't even follow soccer and I know Greece is a shit team

They gotta be. How could they not be. They're too busy lighting cheese on fire, roasting entire lambs and smashing plates all over their hirsute bodies.

absolutly true !!
only 96 %are hairy ,plus 97 % of the womens
so GREEK needs no money ,first they need a shaver

but seriously , i would kick GREECE from the EU .
i´m scared that the EURO totally break ,coz countrys like greece .
their financial behavior is ridicolous - in past ,at moment and most worst ,it will be also in future .
i think nothing will change, also not with a new gouverment.

so kick GREECE from EU - thats the best for EUROPE .

I find hard to believe that they let things get so bad over there. I read somewhere that a doctor claimed he only earnt 500 in one year.

I can see a similar scenario happening in Italy also. Maybe europe should join the pound.

And qualified for the Euro 2012 no problem and drew 1-1 with Russia the other day.

The Euro is the problem. Governments, Greece included, that moved entirely to the Euro have no real control over the economy.

People want to blame the Greek government, but because they have no control over their currency, they also can't do very much to affect the economy. There's a pretty standard process you take to deal with an economic crisis which mostly revolves around printing a lot of money to devalue the currency, which then increases the value of labor -- but since they have no control over the currency, they can't do it. Of course that isn't the only reason, and there are a lot of other problems, but that's a significant part of it.

The UK was very smart to stick with the pound instead of dumping it entirely for the Euro.

Well he is from Mericuh. I was assuming he don't know shit! (No offence jayl0ve :P )

And yeah, I understand he was making greece jokes, but since I haven't paid attention I don't know shit about what's going on over there at the moment.
