My 5,4,4,1 power charakter is perfect, I only have to improve in dealing with cheesy connections, such like Fred Belin's, then I am unbeatable - and that's for damn sure!

I have also created and used virtually every possible option. That said, there is still hope as I usually abandon a character prematurely. I believe it takes a rather long time to grow accustomed to the different skills and different star allocation. Oh hell, who am I fooling. I'm doomed.

Im trying out variuos power chars with speed skill just like norbertos. But I cant get them to hit the ball as hard as I like. For instance I have a technician 5441 char with power skill 5:11 189 ibs mostly muscle and he has the hardest groundstrokes of any player I ever created, and I made a hundred or so players. Doesn't really matter though since I learned the vinceanity forehand . So if you play me and win a game consider you self lucky.

i think i found a hard/grass court player that i am finally comfortable with. so yeah, i will be using TT Boy (tech, 4334, rs, power, ps, ts) for all courts that arent clay. otherwise, i will use biff (tech, 3344, rs, speed, ps, ts) for the clay court season!

Funny, I have created 40+ characters and not one Technician among them (99% of my crew have been Defensive players.) Maybe I'll try a Techie build for 2006 ... can't hurt.

i went from techs to defensive guys. its nice that they have speed, but i didnt like the fact they were so bad in precision. so to get precision to 0, you had to sacrifice the return of serve skill. thats what c-i-l-l-e-d me. all i could do was slice the serves back.

with tech, i get precision and the return serve skill. sure, you lose out on speed (not a lot IMO, but i need to play better people to see if that holds true. all i have been getting is a lot of n00bs to spiel), but i would rather have that return serve skill.
