France!!!
:D :D ... well, actually, certainly not
I can only see Brazil. Maybe Argentina or Germany (on its own country but anyway, very few chance for them ) could make a surprise...
So, yes, Brazil in big favourite and then Argentina (followed by Germany, and maybe Portugal) I don't think neither Czech Republic, Italy or even Spain could do a great thing there...
Ferrero is not finished...

I really think Italy will win it. According to me the final will be Italy-Argentina, the brazil will be eliminated by Argentina coz they haven't forgotten what happenend in the confederations cup (4-1 for Brazil); they will take their revenge. And then Gilardino is born the day when Italy won their third world cup in 1982; isn't it a sign?

No England in your top 9? But we're second seeds... and we've got Wayne Rooney!

All those teams have better players than Engand under my point of view.
Btw I didn´t want to make a poll with the 32 teams involved in the World Cup.

I think a team with players like, for example, Terry, Gerrard, Lampard and Owen is at least as good as Spain is.

Togo are the obvious favourites, but of course you can never discount Angola, not to mention Trinidad & Tobago.

Germany will come far because of their draw. Not only the group but they also have easy contenders in the next rounds. I think Argentina will dissapoint and the Holland will surprise. They wont win though cause if Brazil cant win it with the team they have now they should really be ashamed with theirselfs.

I cant believe you havent put england in the top 9!??

Granted we are not favourites... but can you name a better back four? Beckham, Lampard and Gerrard are all world class, and Rooney and Owen up front? thats ridiculous :) Also were Second seeds, Beat argentina... the list goes on.

Personally i think germany and Brazil are up there, Italy too they are in the same situation as England best squad for years and also in their prime age wise.

Can't see spain or portugal doing much, Holland are always technically good but never play as a team. Also france are getting over the hill a bit.

Even though im English im surprised England isnt in the list either the poster has no idea about football or hes Argentenian.

I actually think this is a two horse race between Brazil and England as Ronaldiniho said we only fear England.

Sounds to me a man who speaks sence 8)

Predictions.....Brazil

England

Germany

I´m argentinian and I keep thinking that England is not better than the teams involved in the poll.
