I m myself not sure whether they are lobs or top spins but they are in the middle of the court and are very high

Well sometimes top spins can be high but there's nothing wrong with hitting them. If the game occasionally decides to make you get all glitchy when one is hit then really that's the game's problem. As for using actual lobs (Y, triangle I think) this is completely retarded and I rarely ever see it. It's probably worse than constantly slicing the ball and is typically used in desperation by poor sports who are losing.

There is a definitive difference, however and you should certainly be able to discern a lob from a top spin shot. My impression I got from this post initially was that he was referring to his opponent returning using the Y Lob, which is just stupid really. The only time I'd consider that would be if I had some idiot serving, crashing the net and constantly using drop volleys.

the most odd thing is that i want to rush at the high ball to hit a powerful winner but instead my player gets locked in the place and waits for the ball to come at him rather than moving towards the ball

I totally know what you mean. I find that in this game a LOT my player just simply won't move or wants to stand in a certain place to make a shot. It's really frustrating sometimes especially when it costs you a winner.

Yes exactly... I m about to hit a winner-my opponent hits a high shot-my players stands at the same place-my opponent finds time to reposition-and then the rally is again 50-50 On chance basis for me and my opponent to win

But at the same time you can't fault your opponent he's just trying to stay in the point. It's a fault with TS4 in that it sometimes repositions you against your will.

Problem is that there is a "HUGE" difference in terms of the "right time". Personally, the "right" time to rush on that ball or to take it off the air, or to take it on the rise does not correspond with what the game thinks is the "right time".

Basically it comes down to button combos, pressing buttons at the right times according to the game programming etc....too bad it is not intuitive as it should be in real tennis. As I said earlier, the game "forces" you to play certain way, it simply doesn't let you make as many decision as you want to make.

From inability to risk, to robotic, "locked-in" movement.

So then what is the right time to press the buttons so I can rush at the ball to hit a attacking shot?

Beat them again

When its happened to me, yeah its frustrating, but just start the rally again and dominate the rally again, out right winners cant get lobbed back. And it feels good when someone keeps doing it, and then you just stay calm and keep going to win the point.

all I can say is.....theres a reason nobody does moon balls as much in real life anymore....especially in the pro level......

lets be serious....we know the difference between lobs against serve/volly types and this........as for power up a topspin volley or going for a smash? the majority of the time players arent in position due to the spaz out repositioning (glitch?)

I believe Nadal tried it against Djokovic during one of their master finals on clay this year.......I think we know how that turned out

You sound like a cocky 10 year old. its not your opponent fault if your position in court/tatcital mind is not as got as it should be to play here, so go back to WT sossh.

Funny enough, how come none of the top players complained about that ´´massive glitch`` in the game.(no disrespect)

For me everything is counterable, everything, you just havent figured out a how to attack properly and finish up your points, your opponent on the other hand has found a way or ways to stay alive in the point.
