Verdasco was top 10 until February when he fractured his foot. He recently came back and is still 19th.
Juan Martin Del Potro was ranked 4th just last year, where he got injured and went through surgery on his wrist, missed tons of events. He's still 18th.
Del Potro destroyed everyone with his 98-98, then he got injured and is coming back. Verdasco was a threat to every player with his 98-98, but got injured and is on the rise again.
Raonic is a rookie. He's 20, and he's ranked 26th.
You want people in the top 10 who play 98-98?
Mardy Fish. Robin Solderling. Thomas Berdych.
Roddick is old and cautious, so he doesn't just bomb it. But he did it for a long time.
This playstyle is legitimate, and unlikely to go away. The only a few people make it look like it's worthless. Everyone else has a hard time. Roddick still has a winning record against Djokovic!
KDZaster wrote:How is 98 Power and serve unrealistic?
That sounds like Juan Del Potro, like John Isner, like Fernando Verdaso, like Milos Raonic, like Andy Roddick, who all hit 130-150 serves regularly (some more than others) and have a super-strong forehand that have clocked 90mph or above more than once?
It's unrealistic?
Because it's hard to return, like in real life?
Because it's hard to deal with, like in real life?
They already made it so serving vs returning is nowhere near IRL, since returning is so freakin easy and no one misses any returns they make contact with 99% of the time (which is the most unrealistic thing in this game, you cant bring back a 140+mph serve every. single. time you touch it).
People still complain when a well placed 120+ mph serve no long has ANY possibility of being a consistant Ace in this game. When you can press left, and then right against a serve thats 130+ and still reach it, while in "real life", if you choose left and the ball goes right and is going that fast, you've missed it.

It goes like this: blablabla is overpowered.
comment1: Yeah its overpowered but whan can we do.
comment2: Yeah its overpowered, its not real life tennis.
comment3: Yeah we should cap skills at 85-90.
comment4: Buhhh, ure talking crap man if plus 90 power/serve is unrealistic the plus 90 wings, plus 90 volley they are all unrealistic.what can we play???
comment 5: Yeah, its unrealistic but this is a videogame and its not near as overpowered as TI/MD.
comment6: Yeah its overpowered but the CPS/IR is also overpowered so what u gonna do?
What i say is this: 90+volley,power,speed,wings,serve they are all overpowered so none of them is overpowered. did u guys got it or should i spell it out for you?
Its your fault your oponnent beat you, plz stop crying.
Every single build in this game have weaknees, everyone, and every single build have strenght, if u lost a game is because your oponnent was better at exploiting your weaknees and his strenghts than you.
LokiSharpShootr wrote:Yeah, in WT i have played a guy who every serve was 240 and eventually in the rally if he didnt got a winner he would dropshot me cause he knew he would lose in a longer rally, and i still beat him.
BTW: like you said your All-rounder, All rounder got no weakness but also got no strenghts, they can play anywhere but playing against a full power build, or full DFB or full volley they will lose almost every time, if u wanna play all round and be sucessufull agaisnt good players(with 20 builds) ure gonna lose, just stick to playing SIM.
